These Kettle Chips are crafted in small batches in Traverse City, MI, and seasoned to perfection. The potatoes are sourced from the Mid-Western States, and the company has been producing kettle chips since 2009 when Ed and Chris Girrbach founded Great Lakes Potato Chips in Traverse City.</p>  <p>All Great Lakes Potato Chips products are Gluten and allergen-free. The company was founded with the goal of creating a superior snacking experience in every bag. They strive to provide customers with the highest quality Kettle Chips, seasoned to perfection.</p>  <h3>Process of Production</h3>  <p>The process begins with receiving raw potatoes from one of three farms throughout the year. The potatoes are then washed and sent up a conveyor system to slicing machines that transform whole potatoes into slices. These slices then fall into the cookers and are cooked for about 10 minutes.</p>  <p>After the cooking is complete, the chips are removed from the cooker and inspected for any defects. The chips are then sent to the seasoning station where just the right amount of seasoning is applied. Bought them to take to son's cottage and we never opened them. I asked him how they were and he said he loved them.

Yummy but not my favorite flavor from this brand. Would love to see Sam's carry more flavors from this brand!!

This product has a very robust cheddar flavor, but he's also very salty.

Who knew the Great lakes made their own chips?

Yum!

Great crunch, crispiness, and texture.  Chip will hold up to anything you put to it. The flavor was underwhelming. I really enjoy the Lays and Ruffles versions of this cheese chip, and was excited to find these chips MADE IN MICHIGAN, but they just didn’t deliver.
