This item has a major typo in the description/title. This set is Gourmet Series, NOT Classis Series.

Why it matters:

- Classic Series is forged high carbon steel and has a full bolster. These knives have a full lifetime warranty and are a heavy,stronger,blade with superior edge retention

- Gourmet Series is laser cut from a sheet of high carbon steel. This is more of a stamping process and is not at all the same as forged. The knives are still good quality,but they carry is limited lifetime warranty (not full) and are softer due to not being forged. This means the edge is more suceptable to rolling and will need more frequent honing and sharpening.

Sams refunded purchase,so everything was made right. Excellent customer service. They just need to correct this listing to clarify they are Gourmet Series.

Gourmet, not Classic

Buyer beware. These are not the Classic forged knives as shown in the pictures and advertised. The knives i receive are the Gourmet Stampted steel knives. 

Sams Club needs to update the pictures and description.

Incorrect Sams club description.

THESE ARE NOT THE CLASSIC KNIVES!  They are the gourmet ones which are of a much lesser quality.  Very misleading.
