Very well made and true to size. Lots of pockets and the fabric is soft and comfortable. The stretchable waist offers extra comfort that may require you to get one size lower. The pocket with the zip is an added bonus and the zippers are smooth to operate. Overall an excellent utility shorts.

Soft and comfortable

The reason I like shorts like these is because of the ruler/side pockets that are large enough to carry my cell phone in.Go price a pair of Carhartt carpenters shorts similar to these and you'll pay over $30. I paid around around $15 for these. Definitely worth the money!

I call that a bargain! The best I ever had!

These shorts look good and appear like course material.  But the material is actually soft and comfortable.  They are lightweight.  The waist is stretchy.  I wear 34 to 36 waist but I chose 34 because of the stretchy waist.  I recommend if you are between sizes go down a size unless you really want a baggie fit.  The 34 is still loose on me.

A Good Pair of Shorts

They fit great and are very light. I like the right thigh pockets as they are layered to create an extra deep pocket for a smart phone. The right front pocket also includes a zippered security pocket inside the main pocket. All of this while not feeling bulky like typical cargo pants.

Bought these shorts for wearing for yard work. They are not only very comfortable, but also very durable fabric. They have a lot of pockets which are handy for holding things while working in the garden or yard.

LOVE these shorts! They fit nicely and the material is great! Love all the cool pockets and so far they seem nice and durable!  I ordered every color on line... they had more than the store carried.

Coolest shorts at the store!

These shorts are really comfortable, well made and functional. It can be worn at the beach, at the park, on the golf course or out for a casual dinner. 
It has a lot of pockets but doesnt look bulky when you put things into your pocket. I like that the color is subtle as well.

Great shorts with great functionality

After a year the zipper on the side pocket stopped working so that pocket gapes open unattractively. I wish it didn't have this zipper pocket. It's completely unnecessary and just something to cause the shorts to fail.

I don't know why SAMS carries men's shorts listed as 32" when the waste actually measures 35"?  Also, why don't they carry smaller sizes.  Not every American is FAT!
