Once you figure out that you don't have to throw it at all and you have to slightly tilt it towards the person who is trying to catch it, it is very fun and good for kids learning to catch something.

Great grandkids love it from ages 20 months to age 8.  It’s lightweight of course so little ones need supervision.  It’s hard to keep in the car until you’ve practiced but still fun.

Best toy for kids

We bought this for our 8 year old grandson.  The battery doesn't last long, but the fun is definitely worth the purchase.  Luckily it charges fast and the laughter continues as we passed it back and forth, sometimes unsuccessfully and had to chase it.  It's next level entertainment for everyone!

Taking The Ball Toss Up a Notch Fun!

My grandson thought it was a weird gift. He never heard of a hover ball! He plugged it in to charge and when he and his friends started playing with it they had a blast! My grandson said "best gift ever!" All the boys want one now. I've ordered 4 more for Christmas gifts.

Best gift ever!

I had fun with it. It's tricky to turn on, and it turns off when it crashes, which is every time the fan is not positioned above an opposing surface. The flashing lights are cute. The unpredictability is entertaining. I left it with my 4 year old grandson, who doesn't understand it, but is amused by it.

Quirky

The product does charge up but so far we haven’t been able to master the ball. It moves extremely fast and just drops. Good thing it’s plastic. The switch on there is teeny and great for small fingers. I bought to see if it really could float like on the video. It spins too fast for that but again maybe we haven’t mastered it .

Pretty when it lights up

Have trouble with starting up with the shake and when outside it is hazardous for children chasing the ball might run out into the road to retrieve the ball and get hit by a car. However, if the age limit is raised to an older child, I feel you can talk to that child and they will understand the importance of letting the ball go if it’s going towards the road and be able to operate the ball once you get it down on how to tip the ball just slightly  an operation It is fun, going back-and-forth or trying to hover

Potential for hazard or fun

This toy requires two people at a minimum to play with, it is not a drone and does not hover.  It is very hard to toss the ball back and forth.  Not much fun to use and gets frustrating very fast.  I imagine it will quickly break as it flies into walls.  There are better toys for the money.  Sam’s should remove them from their shelves and save their customers money.
