We've only had these for a couple weeks so we'll see how they hold up, but initially we love them!  They are super heavy duty, totally non-stick, and solidly built.  We've used metal spatula's on them with no scratches.  Eggs don't stick, nothing sticks.

Great non-stick without Teflon!

These are carbon steel pans.  They do not have a non stick coating.  They do not rust when used, they naturally petina.  That's supposed to happen.  The pan will change color as you use it.  That's normal.   Anyone who writes that the non stick doesn't last or that they rust doesn't understand how a carbon steel pan works.  Follow the instructions to season it correctly which needs to be done once and a while, and they work great!  Heat the pan first to a medium temp before putting anything in them, and cook with a little olive oil and your food will not stick.  These are good quality pans.  Much lighter then cast iron, and the handles do not get hot.  Very pleased with these pans, especially for the low price.

Great pans if you use them correctly

My cast iron pans are getting a bit heavy for me, so I gave these steel pans a try.  They cook like cast iron, but aren't as heavy to lift about.  I haven't had any issues with discoloration yet, so bonus.  Just like cast iron, you need to rinse out and re-oil, and never put in the dishwasher!  I would buy them again! (and have already recommended them to friends)

Excellent pans

I have been looking and trying to find some non stick pans for frying eggs.   I tried everyone I saw.   Ceramic, diamond coated, granite I tried them all.  They all cause the eggs to stick.  NOT these pans.  I never had cast iron or had to season a pan. I got the pans and sprayed some oil and cooked 3 fried eggs.  I could flip them.  When I finished I rinsed out the pan with water and wiped some oil on the pan and put it away for next time.  These pans really worked well as far as non stick.  I am really happy with them.

Just buy it

These are awesome. They work so much better than those old terrible Telphon pans.  And, please don't listen to the folks that can't figure out how to season these. Just wash them (they wash very easily) and put a very small coat of oil on the pan.   That's it.  Unlike all the terrible non-stick pans, these should last forever.

Fantastic pans that should last forever.

I loved this pans. Nothing sticks to them . I just followed the manufacturer's instructions to season them.  I love my new pans. I highly recommend them.

Awesome pans

I've had them a few weeks and just tried them tonight for the first time. Wow!! Excellent! So glad I took the plunge and gave them a try. I love cast iron, so I had to try them. Give them a try but follow the directions on seasoning even though they are supposed to be already

I purchased 3 sets, one for myself and two for family. and we're all very pleased with this product! I read the reviews and it looks as if the primary complaint is the steps to season correctly. Carefully follow the enclosed instructions and you'll enjoy this pan for years to come. Highly recommend!!!

The best skillets ever!

Shifting away from poisonous non-stick requires a learning curve after our 5 month old Gotham steel skillet lost it's nonstick qualities. Lighter than cast iron, it is a substantial skillet and look forward to its maturation into more non-stick performance. I feel much safer cooking with it knowing it's not breaking sown into dangerous substances.

Out with the new and in with the old!

I was really looking forward to using these pans as I was looking for a good quality non-stick pan with a durable non-stick surface. I have a smooth cook-top surface so the pan has to sit flat. I followed the directions and started the seasoning process using medium heat and the large pan. As soon as the pan got hot it started rocking on the burner which is unacceptable. I let the pan cool, it sat flat. I tried a second time and it started rocking again. So it's obviously warping. I didn't try the small pan, I just packed them up and sent them back. They are advertized as good on all surfaces and I'm sure they are fine on gas, but not on smooth-tops.
