Bought this because I do so much getting ready for classes-I swear it cut my prep time in half!!! Very satisfied with price and quality and sharpness!

Great paper cutter

Cuts well.  Haven't tried to put 10 sheets of paper in yet.  Cut cardstock, few sheets at a time and it did well.  Blade sticks a little bit and since the base is light-weight plastic you have to put your hand down on it to pull the blade back up.  Not a big deal though.

I bought this to cut my wedding invitations since they came a bit too large for the pocket envelopes I purchased seperately. It did not disappoint. it was very sharp and I like that it doesnt drop back down. the cut was very clean even when I only needed to cut a small sliver more. so happy with this product

Works great for home use. But only had since Christmas not sure how long it will cut with a lot of use. That's why I said home use. 10 sheets of plain paper definitely max. For price can't beat it. Very satisfied. Wife is a school teacher and like a lot of teachers she does a lot of work from home. She is the main user. Very satisfied. Not to be confused with a industrial model.

Paper cutter does exactly as described

The Swingline ClassicCut Lite Guillotine Trimmer is a very well made product that cuts paper just as neatly and cleanly as its heavier counterpart but is light enough to move around easily. The blade is sharp, the table is well marked, and it has all the features of any guillotine-style cutter, but the high impact plastic table cuts its weight by more than half. I would recommend this cutter to anyone who cuts paper regularly but wants to move it around often.

Light But Efficient

This thing is a cutting beast.
However, it's made of plastic, and there is no telling how long it will last.
I'm rough on tools, not by intention, but by constant use.
I love how precise of a cut it gives me, and I'm going to be doing A LOT of cutting in the near, immediate future.
I just hope it lasts.

it is a good price and you get what you pay for... it can cut 8-10 sheets of thin paper or light weight scrapbook paper... if you cut more, then the cuts will be a little off... i paid for it online and when i went to pick it up (which was less than an hour after i paid on line, very fast) the price in store was less than what i paid for online and they credited me the difference and told me about it... which i didn't expect but was happy to hear... it def is a good size for the average crafter...if you need for chipboard then this is not the one for you... but i like the size, the weight, and the price...

I do scrapbooking and lot of crafty things for church and with the kids. I thought, "Could you guys maybe please get me a papercutter for Mother's Day...but get it a little early? Because I have a scrap I'm going to in early May." They sure did. My husband found this online upon recommendation of other scrappers and bought it that very day I made the suggestion. I guess he knew it would be something I really liked, and he would've done GOOD for me for Mother's Day this year. Happy VERY EARLY Mother's Day to me. I love it so far. We've cut a LOT of paper already!

This product does exactly what it is designed to do, the only negative things I have to say about it is that it has no weight to the base which tends to "flip up" when cutting if you do not have it secure to the table with your arm/hand and I wish it were a longer length to cut those odd sizes of paper. Other than that, I am satisfied with the productivity of this.

This does what it's designed to do

The ruler for measuring cuts starts at zero with 1. That means one inch is measured as 2 inches.  The entire ruler is off by one inch. It would drive me nuts factoring in their screwy measurements when cutting.
