The Four Graces Pinot Noir has pleasant aromas of raspberry, Bing cherry and hints of earthy forest floor mingle. The palate exudes bright red fruit flavors of cherry and cranberry complemented by a focused mid palate of black pepper and light roasted coffee beans. The Four Graces Pinot Noir showcases a beautiful ruby hue in the glass. Pleasant aromas of raspberry, Bing cherry and hints of earthy forest floor mingle. The finish crisp with a perfectly balanced acidity. The fruit for this wine was sourced from the Foley Family Estate, Doe Ridge and select sites throughout the Willamette Valley AVA. The Foley Family Estate Vineyard encompasses 110 acres nestled in the Red Hills of Dundee. The Doe Ridge Estate, purchased and developed in 2005, is a 90-acre site and considered one of the most innovative new vineyards in the Willamette Valley. Additional fruit from Erratic Oaks, Hyland and Prince Hill make up the final blend. Production Notes: The 2017 vintage began with a colder than average winter, with multiple snowstorms. Thankfully, spring saw a return to normal with bud break taking place in April. As summer approached, the classic warm days and cool nights made for ideal growing conditions without any major heat waves. During harvest, which took place from October 14th – 16th, we received less than average rainfall, which allowed for nearly perfect harvesting conditions.

Really great wine.  Friends thought it was much more expensive

Great wine

I'll preface this by saying I'm a big Pinot fan, and prefer light Pinot's from the Willamette Valley.   The heavier ones (both in color and taste) tend to have a hint of syrup-like texture.  That when accompanied by a slightly sweeter flavor (i.e. less dry) is why I rate it 3.   For reference my current favorite is Primarius Pinot - an Oregon Pinot.
