I purchased the Tempur-Pedic Cool Softness Reversible Blanket because of most blankets and comforters making us too hot when we sleep. (I’ve spent hours reading reviews in search of decent cool blanket; even more time sleeping (sweating) under the false claims; and hundreds  or more $ looking for something that even comes close to this.)

We’ve been using this blanket for about a month, and for two hot sleepers it’s been good. I don’t find myself kicking it off throughout the night. Be sure to have the cooling side facing properly to take best advantage of the cool effect. It is lightweight, soft to the touch, and the light grey color is versatile to fit most room aesthetics. (More color options would be great, though!) As other reviewers have mentioned, the size is generous from side-to-side. 
Purchased two of these - one for a king bed and one for a queen bed. They wash and dry well (so far) and lay flat without wrinkles. The sideways stitching still gets me when I make the bed, but that’s a small adjustment compared to sleeping through the night!

For those who sleep hot, give it a shot

Pretty shocking how the fabric actually does what it says...it just seems to be colder than other blankets...but only on one side...the material on the cooler side feels almost like there was some moisture in the fabric recently. Of course, after you've been under it for a while, it warms up just like any other blanket material, but it cools off quickly if you expose it to the open air again. It seems to work best if you sleep under the warmer side of the blanket, then if you wake up feeling too warm, just flip the blanket over to the cooler side like you would to get to the cooler side of the pillow...I bet if you did both at the same time you'd be cooled off in seconds...maybe even too much so for some haha. Even if you share a big bed, it might be smart to get each person their own twin size cooling blanket because some sleepers might not enjoy the surprise of the cooler side of the blanket in the middle of the night :)

This blanket is great for the summer. Its lightweight and the cooling side is nice and sleek. We liked ours so much on our king size bed, we bought 2 more for our kids. They love theirs too. It fits the beds well too. Not too short or anything, like some blankets.

New favorite blanket

I absolutely love this blanket! Not even exaggerating, it’s nothing like I’ve ever had. I recommend it to my bruh and he’s going to be getting one too. It is no lie that it keeps you cool on one side and you can use the other side to keep you warm. Stop looking around and buy this before they sell out.!

Must Have!!! No Regrets

I never write reviews on anything, but this has done exactly what it says it would do and I really feel I need to share it. I sleep in the spare room, because the room I share with my husband is too hot for me. I have been trying to deal with my excessive heat sleeping issues for the last 2 yrs. I pull my covers on

I CAN SLEEP AGAIN!

I love this blanket.  I'm always hot, this blanket is cool against your body and feels wonderful.  For some reason it gets the little pilly balls all over it.  I shave them off.  Will have to wait to see if they return.  surprisingly you do not notice them.  I will always use this blanket!!!

Great for anyone hot in bed!

I like this blanket, but it is super thin and I usually have to put another blanket on top for a heavier feel (my preference). I have washed it a handful of times at this point and even on gentle cycles the fabric is piling and just becoming worn out. It is still cool to the touch, but rough in places now. For what I paid I'm mostly happy with it.

Decent

feels kinda cool to the touch, up to about 75 degrees. I ordered a twin size and was surprised by how big it is. It's really a comforter, rather than a blanket or spread. I am saving to use in cooler weather as a comforter.  I may also try it as a mattress pad and cover up with a cooling blanket.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This blanket came with strings all over the blanket. It appears that the seamstress had a fight with the sewing machine. Terrified that when I wash it, it will fall apart. Called CS and not much help.

I washed blanket before putting on bed. I noticed several large stiff areas on surface that were slightly discolored so I rewashed this item. Areas are still there after multiple washings, very disappointed. Had discarded packaging before discovering these areas so unable to return.  One area approx. 12 x 6-8 inches.  Be sure to thoroughly check blanket out if you purchase. I ended up discarding this without using. Waste of my money.
