I first became familiar with your products whilst working in the monitored alarm systems  in Sydney during the 80's...I have had one of your systems in my home for a decade; installed one in a mate's place in Sydney last year; & have just purchased another system for my son in Tucson...needless to say, I believe in the quality of your products!

The product is ok , i would not call the cameras 4k because the picture does not look 4k.  The app is that connected to this device is ok but i do not get push notifications. There is room for improvement and i do believe it will be improved over time . I would still recommend it and i feel i will probably give it a higher rating once things are ironed out . Its very easy to installation i loved , the use of the DVR is sort of easy but the customer support is very good.

NVR system and cameras are fine.
Suitable for our purposes.
However cat5e cables are packed so tightly that one was faulty out of the box.

Suitable but poor packaging

I have connected one camera to test the vison in day light, inside house, outside house, night vison before installation. The picture quality was not up to the mark of 4K. I have packed it back to the box and returned.

Its not 4K

This product does not do what it is advertised to do. The motion sensor push notification on the app do not work. We have done every so called fix and troubleshoot available. We’ve paid quite a bit of money for this unit and frankly, highly disappointed. How can you sell something and promote something that obviously does not work! As for the video footage, this is great, but only buy this unit if you don’t want any alerts!

Disappointed

Only 2 cameras with 4k upscale resolution, 4 cameras ain't. PIR and Detection cannot be activated. Pedestrian detection defaulted to "disable" by supplier, other options not recording. Deterrent spotlight not working when defaulted schedule is changed. Sensitivity defaulted to 4, doesn't do anything if sensitivity number revised.

Limited features

I have 4 Swann security home systems since 2014.  Recently SWANN decided to not update security APPS ON SYSTEMS 2 Yrs or older.  DO NOT OPEN THE PORTS TO USE A THIRD PARTY APP.  THIS LEAVES YOUR COMPLETE ROUTER, MODEM, COMPUTERS, TABLETS. SMART HOME DEVICES ALL VISIBLE BY HOME HACKERS.. TEENAGE HACKERS CAN BREAK INTO YOUR SYSTEM THROUGH OPEN PORTS. THEN GO INTO ANY DEVICE ON THE MODEM N ROUTER.THIS IS DANGEROUS, SWANN KNOWS IT.  BUT SWANN WENT CHEAP AND WONT UPDATE Their SECURE APP TO YOUR OLDER SYSTEMS APPS AND SOFTWARE.  SERIOUSLY.. SWANN WILL NOT OPEN THE PORTS FOR YOU BECAUSE THEY KNOW IT MAKES You open TO HACKERS... SWANN DOES NOT TAKE LIABILITY BUT Instructs YOU TO OPEN the ports and download 3rd party apps.  Swann not doing it leaves them free from LIABILITY AFTER YOU GET HACKED... SWANN WILL Claim you OPENED the ports not swann.  THIS IS SWANN SELLING YOU OUT ... YOU ARENO LONGER SECURE AFTER THE PORTS ARE OPEN AND THE 3RD PARTY APPS COLLECT YOUR INFO AND DELL YOU OUT TOO.  
UNTIL SWANN UPDATES YOUR SYSTEMS OLD AND NEW WITH SWANN SOFTWARE/APPS I SUGGEST NOT INSTALLING....  I Now HAVE 4 SYSTEMS I CAN NOT PUT ONLINE SECURELY WITH OPEN PORTS AND 3RD PARTY APPS SELLING OUT YOUR INFO (MAKING YOU EVEN LESS SECURE .. HACKER N BUSINESS THAT BUY FROM THE APPS LEARN YOU HAVE NON SECURE SWANN PROTECTING YOUR HOME AND THEN HAVE ALL YOUR INFO N ADDRESS.. NOW GO INTO YOUR SYSTEM TURNING OFF AND Burglarizing HOME AND SWANN HAS NO LIABILITY .. SWANN LEGAL AND INSURANCE ARE NOT LIABLE...
PS.. TO SAMS CLUB AND SYNCHRONY BANK... SWANN IS NOT PROTECTING YOUR ACCOUNTS OR CREDITS ...AS ONCE THE HACKER IS IN SWANN DEVICE THEN MODEM ROUTER COMPUTERS PHONES... THEY ALSO HAVE THE SAMS CLUB AND SYNCHRONY BANK ACCOUNTS on those devises.  .  CAPABLE OF CREATING FRAUD IN YOUR SYSTEMS TOO.
I HAD TOP SECURITY Clearance IN US ARMY AND Seymour Cray taught me personally to design circuit boards for the cray 2 supercomputer.  
Sams and Synchrony i suggest contacting swann about the opening of these ports and the use of 3rd party apps pon devices that sams club is selling and claiming is secure n safe. 
...would you buy a phone  or computer that the os only lasts 24 months.  This is A SERIOUS SECURE JOKE BY SWANN TO BE CHEAP AND DITCH All legal LIABILITY ASAP.. 24 MONTHS ON A 500$ OR 2000$ DOLLAR SECURITY PURCHASE...
