This vacuum works very well.  Without changing any attachments you can go from floor to carpet or rugs with no problem.  It's satisfying to see how much you pickup in the clear canister.  Quality is very good.  Highly recommend at this price point.  Several complained that it doesn't stand up on its own…it's a stick vacuum, it's not supposed to!

I love this little vacuum, and it doesn't get hair wound up on the bar down on the bottom it cuts it off itself, it came with quite a few attachments and it works really well on our short haired Chihuahuas hair and our long-haired Chihuahuas hair.  It is light enough for me to use easily, although I don't like the extra weight at the top, but it comes apart so you can suck things up so I understand why it has to be that way. I couldn't use our old vacuum cleaner without hurting my back and this one I can.

Quick and easy to use

I have actually purchased 2 of these vacuum's. I told my mother How much I was enjoying mine to pickup my dogs hair. She doesn't have dogs but is  older and appreciates that it is good and lightweight. We have dark wood floors so the light on the front really highlights the dust. Good suction , lightweight easy to clean. Like the different attachment

Lightweight good vacuum.

I purchased this vacuum due to our last one giving out.  It is amazing!  I use it daily since we have a dog that sheds and I keep our (now crawling) granddaughter.  The Shark is so easy to use, the collection cup is easy to empty and it stores well!  One feature I love is the light not only on the main head of the vacuum, but also on the detachable handheld part!

Wonderful vacuum and features

We use Shark uprights in our commercial cleaning business and have had great success for over 5 years with them.  My wife likes this model for the home.  This vacuum was purchased to replace an older version of the same.  We do like the Sharks.  I gave 4 stars as this vacuum was just recently purchased and we have not used it more than dozen times.

Happy with Shark vacuums

Great for anyone with physical limitations as well as anyone appreciating a small light vacuum. Actually, I got this for family members who live in a fairly cluttered home. The vacuum makes it possible to comfortably clean in small areas. I haven't used it on carpeting, so can't speak to that, but it gets all the dust bunnies on hardwood flooring or tile. I am nearly 70, so I appreciate its light weight and ease of emptying. What I dislike is the difficulty in removing the attachments from the wand (long tube). You have to twist and turn (I was advised by Shark) but I had to resort to using a silicone potholder to finally unattach the crevice tool from the wand. It took 5 minutes and a fair amount of effort, which is unacceptable. However, other than that (not to minimize this sizeable flaw), I so like the product.

Great, but with a Big Flaw

I really like this- it's lightweight and does a good job. I just wished it was designed in a way that it could stand upright. It is awkward if I have to walk away from vacuuming for a moment and I have to find a place to lay it over.  The snap on attachments fall off pretty easily while in use.  I have found it is easier to just take them off comps before I use the vacuum

It does the job

Had a Shark Pro Deluxe Rocket and was very happy with it. I lost the filter cover and could not find a replacement for it so I decided to try the Rocket Zero-M for $20 less. Wish I hadn't bought this. It is much louder and does not clean up the pet hair as well. It may very well work for a pet-free home.

I got this because my older Rocket stick vac upstairs works so well but was disappointed to find it does not do well on thick carpet with less brushes on the beater bar. Great on bare floors and throw rugs with low pile. So if you have thick pile carpet it may not live up to your expectations. I should have gotten the same model I already had. Also, the dust cup is no bigger than the older model.

Convenient size

Blows hot air onto you as you vacuum as if vacuuming & moving around is not hot enough.

Has no propelling action on the head to move forward putting strain on wrist.

Brush head does not stop when in upright position.

Dust bin collector is not detachable.
Requiring the whole heavy top being taken to the trash bin.

Dust bin collector has weird half circle inside of it causing the empting to become more problematic as the dust bunnies spill everywhere completely missing the trash bin.

Top half requires to be taken off if leaving it standing solo so it doesn't tip over.
Which can get tiring when one is trying to pick up toys off the floor.

Also the cheap clip to keep the dust bin closed popped off causing me to have to re vacuum the house. Since I did not notice it came off right away & there was dust bunny clumps through out the house.
