Night & Day Difference with Shark NeverChange

A wonderful Shark NeverChange Air Purifier for my living room works great. I have 2 dogs and a Congo African Gray Parrot. My home can become smelly quickly so, having this Air Purifier next to one dog bed really helps to prevent bad odors. The Purifier works great, not very loud at all. After cooking meals the Purifier helps with food odors also.

In a world of so many air purifier choices we simply need something that works. We trust the Shark Ninja name and Sam's for quality. We can tell the positive difference this air purifier is making in our home that we share with cats.

When I first set this unit up, I expected it would turn on showing poor air quality because I have two dogs in my house but it started at 100% air quality.  I thought I got a defective unit but a couple days later I was frying some fish and the sensor turned red and automatically increased the fan to filter more air.  A few hours later the dial was lit blue again and showing 100% fit air quality and the fan automatically went back down to its silent operation.  The only time I hear this running is when it increasing the fan to filter more air but even then it's softer than most fans.  Since the filter
shows 100%, except if I cook something with a bit of oil in the pan or use my air fryer, I turn it off in my livingroom at night to save energy then turn it back on when I get up in the morning.  I'm pleased with how quiet it is and that my air quality with two indoor dogs is very good.  I expected it to show lower quality until it had been working for a few hours.  The one thing I did notice is that the scent pods that came with it didn't really add a scent to the room so k don't know if these were more of a scent neutralizer or if they were intended to add a fresh scent to the room.  I just don't notice any difference so I may try the lavender or maybe eucalyptus next time to see if I get a scent.  All in all; the product is working well and I like that there are screens that are washable and keep some of the dust out of the Hepa filter so it shouldn't need to be replaced as frequently as other filtration systems.

Great filtration and quiet operation

It works very well as far as I can tell. When in auto mode with good air quality it is almost silent. I have not have it long enough to judge the durability of the filter. I wish it had however a wifi/bluetooth capabilty with app to control it/review info

So far ( 3 weeks) it has been great.  It is rather large so finding a place to put it in my full house was a challenge.  It helps with my allergies and the air just seems better and my house feels cleaner.  It indicates the air quality and shuts off and on.  Very happy with the purchase!

great air purifier

In a house with 2 dogs we thought this would be a good purchase. I don't really notice a change in the air or smells. Maybe if I left for a few days and returned. The only time we see the percentage go low is when cooking, mopping floors or burning a candle. That seems odd but so far I like it. Do not think the $300 investment was worth it, but still keeping it and running it.

I like it but not worth the $300

The machine works fine, it's the added air freshener that I despise since it was encouraging allergy reactions despite my first turning it down and then completely off.  Finally I just threw the dang thing away.  It doesn't smell like an ocean breeze in any sense of the word and I've been to both oceans and the Gulf.  It smells like cheap perfume which I'm also allergic to.  Had to call customer support the first day to figure out the dang air freshener is in the sealed pack and the entire thing pops in the top.  The machine did quite working on the third day.  We run it 24/7 and one morning woke up and it had stopped.  Called customer support who are great by the way thus the 4 stars and discovered one of the sides had popped out, easy fix and it has had no other issues.

Allergy sufferers beware of the air freshener!

Does what it’s made to do, clean air during winter. Use in kitchen area, works well to clear air of residual cooking smells. Is louder on high than our Alen purifier, but for what we use it, it’s perfect. Highly doubt the 5 year filter life, time will tell.

Does what it was bought for.

I just started using this so it is too soon to determine how well it works. Overall I am pretty happy with it. I was disappointed it did not come with a complete owners manuel indicating what all the symbols on the control panel mean and work. I scanned the QRcode for more info but all I got was some YouTube videos that didn't really answer my questions.

Shark air

This started out great.  I thought.  But it stopped working for no reason after 2 weeks of use.  I followed all the instructions to a T.  I contacted the Shark helpdesk and did what they suggested and it worked again, for a day!  Neither myself or my husband noticed any difference in our air quality while it was working and none of the side filters had collected anything.  
I took it back to Sam's club for a full refund.  Easy process and the people at the customer service desk were easy to work with.
