When we received the mattress, we unrolled it and put it on our bed. It had a smell for a while, but it subsided. The bed conforms to your shape making it comfortable. Since having the mattress, my husband and and I wake up and we are not sore or tired. We haven't had back pain in a while either.

Best mattress ever!

Surprised on how it was packed.  Originally thought it was a mistake. Once the packaging was unsealed, the mattress grew into its proper size.  Initially thoughts:  exactly what we expected and is enjoyable to sleep on.  Will see how the quality continues.

Quality in a surprisingly small package

I was skeptical about t this purchase because I've never purchased a mattress in a box and though the quality may not be as good as a traditional mattress, but I was pleasantly surprised. It was super easy to transport, and setup and it has worked beautifully.

the mattress is certainly very comfortable the only reason I'm giving it at 3 and I haven't had a chance to call Sam's club customer service yet about this, is that in the middle of the mattress it still has a dent from where it came rolled up in the box and it's already been a couple of weeks and it has yet to sponge back up.  looks like a defective mattress in my opinion.but it still feels comfortable it just has that dent that I can see and feel when I sit in the middle of the mattress.

The mattress arrived on the day the order said it would.  My wife and I got it on the bed (its heavy) and unwrapped the packaging.  Once released it unrolled quickly and it expanded as designed.  It was completely expanded within a matter of a few hours.  

The mattress is firmer than we had thought a medium firm mattress should be.  Within 3-4 weeks we noticed it was beginning to develop valleys where we sleep.  I weigh 165 pounds and my wife weighs less.  It should not be developing indention's after 4-6 weeks.   We got rid of our five-year old mattress, because we were tired of trying to climb "the mountain" every time we said goodnight with a kiss.

Unfortunately, Serta is not the brand that they used to be.  The mattress was very soft and swallows you whole as you sink into the material.  Considering how far down you sink in the middle, it feels like all four corners should be straight up in the air.  The springs are very loud in this mattress.  Buy something else.  I returned mine. :/

Not what you expect from a Serta

Very uncomfortable bed we had it for about a year. It started sagging on both sides so they sent us a replacement, and the replacement is only a month old is already starting to do the same thing thinking I might just call and get my money back and buy a different bed.

They delivered it to the wrong address. After two days my neighbor brought it to me. It was supposed to be medium firm and there is no way it is that. It is very soft and hurts my back. There was a rip in the mattress. When I called to complain I was told I would receive a $50 gift card which would be 10% off. I never received the gift card. I am very dissatisfied with this purchase from Sam's club and may never buy anything again from them!!!

Very disappointed!

I was really hoping that the delivery guy mixed up my order with another customer's, but that was not the case.   The mattress feel cheap, and very uncomfortable.  Unfortunately, we bought the mattress just before we had a housefire and was unable to accept the delivery until 8 months later.  By that time, I figured it was too late to return it.  The top portion was too soft and caused a sense of rolling off the edge.  When you lie on it, the top sinks down to a hard surface that feels a lot like cardboard.  I am at the point of purchasing a topper for my topper to get some sense of firmness instead of rigidity (everywhere except the mattress edge).

This mattress looks nice but when it came rolled up in a box, I knew it wasn't right. After letting it fluff out and putting it on the bed, it was nowhere near medium in firming, it was extra extra soft. When you SIT on it, you sink to the bottom and I'm a little person. Also, I'm still waiting on their currier to pick it up, it's going on 2 weeks now
