I was very skeptical about this mattress. I am so happy with this purchase.  I have hip and back problems, boyfriend has shoulder issues, we both sleep like the dead on this mattress. It supports and cradles me, taking all the pressure off my hips (I'm a stomach/back sleeper) BF is a 1 side sleeper. He can comfortably lie on his back and not experience pain.

Firm, supportive and so very comfortable

We bought this as a gift for my mother-in-law and she absolutely loves it! She prefers a firm bed and this bed has met that for her.

This serta gel mattress is so relaxing and comfortable I spend more time in my bed then normal because its that heavenly

Great Purchase

I was apprehensive about buying this bed even after reading the reviews. “Too soft, too hard”, and that it came in shrink wrapped packaging. It unwrapped, and plumped up easily without any wonky corners. The bed is definitely firm but the edges are not so you kind of slide out when exiting the bed, which I surprisingly like! I had a newer 1.5-2 inch mattress topper that I immediately put on the mattress, and with that topper I am 100 percent happy and love this bed. My back loves it too! I wake up well rested with no aches in my back or hips. I gave it four stars because even with the firmness, I'm not sure it would be soft enough for me.

Very good bed for the price

Price point is right on. Purchased 3 of these, over the last 2 years, for college kids who live in apartments. Ease of moving yet comfortable to sleep on. Alows for easy storage beneath the frame we buy with it.

Great for one who moves frequently

It is not Firm enough.  If you are looking only Firm mattress, then try something else.  You can't return this as it came in a box and can't fit it in.

Not firm enough

I've only been sleeping on it for about a week now, so I can't comment on the long term durability, but it is very comfortable. I did also order a 3" memory foam topper from Sam's, so I guess I can't say for certain how comfortable it would be without that. It was shipped on time. It arrived on our porch in a medium sized box, which was very convenient. We unboxed it and it expanded within a minute. Very easy set up. It was a good price also. At this point, I would definitely recommend!

Comfortable mattress - very easy set up!

Pro: It sits high up. It's the exact height as described. 
Con: The firmness is Medium Firm. 
The corners of the bed aren't firm(solid), they cave in. So I'm falling off the mattress. 
You can feel the springs on the side of the bed, as well as certain spots where you sit on the mattress.

My wife purchased this mattress based on good reviews and a great price; she loves it.  I am disappointed; support is inadequate.  The mattress sags under my weight.  I weigh 245 pounds; my wife weighs 105 pounds.
