[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have been very pleased with this camera! It is not stationary, so it will follow movement or you can direct the movement as you please. You do have to have a membership with Arlo, so that is the only downside. It was easy to install and has great camera quality. It even shows clarity at night.  Overall, it has been great!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have the indoor ring security system but we’re looking to upgrade and add on an outdoor security.  This one by Arlo is great because it’s got a 360 pan ability and 180 degree tilt.  Unfortunately it is plug in which is only downside but we’re making it work.  It has features such as automatic motion tracking and really clear color night vision that is crisp.  Has motion detection and alerts straight to your phone.  Not too painfully expensive to add on security monitoring either.  A good value and you can never bet on your safety.

For outdoor use so also a plus plus. It pans around and watches everything.  Great little camera in my opinion.

Small but mighty

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my first security camera and I am very impressed. Setting up and mounting is very quick and easy. I have it up on the side of the wall by my front door. It can pan up and down and spin side to side to cover pretty much most of my home. I love that it can detect when people, packages, objects and movement is around and even has a light when dark. Using it with the app is a seamless and very enjoyable experience.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Shoutout to one of the best camera ever that i have ever used. It was really easy to install the camera, took only 15 minutes to set up everything. I was amazed by the video quality, really high-ended video with clear sound too, even at night time. It also has motion detection so it automatically moves to track objects easily. One of my favorite camera ever. Highly recommended!

Best quality camera!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently received the Arlo Essential Pan Tilt Outdoor Security Camera with 2K Plug-in. 
I’m not new to Arlo cams since we use them at my folks house. 
Quality seems on par with their models. 
Being this is a newer model than theirs which is HD. Clearly, I’d say the image is way better- but it’s only 2k image vs my preferred preference of a 4k security camera. 
Anyhoo, set was easy- created a new account for this one at my house and the entire layout of the app is different from the other Arlo cameras set up on my folks account. 
It also did a pop up mentioning a subscription is required after the free 60 days is up. 
I’m hoping it will offer a free subscription that my folks are on- but that’s to be determined and I will circle back to update my findings on that. 
I’m still testing it out and determining where we are installing this camera - out front or out in the back patio. Thankfully long enough cord is supplied so hopefully shouldn’t be too difficult for placement. I believe the next step will be investing in another one so we can just have extra layer of security and piece of mind especially with the new features of auto detecting people, vehicles, animals, and even packages ! I Love that!
As always I’m super grateful for this product especially since it was complimentary! Will be put into use and look forward to recommending it to others.

New features and nice clarity for image/video.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Plug in is nice but complicated to get in places outside that doesn't have plug option readily available. Angle is great has swivel option. Picture is good enough but would like clearer. That all said decided to move indoors and use for the front now that I have more people coming in and out and actually is a great solution! Would continue using and like that doesn't need crazy set up

Nice to have but not my all time favorite

I’d like it for our garage but you’d need a really long cord to plug it in. Nice and easy to mount and good video quality for day and night. Like the motion detection and tilt features and AI integration.
