Safe came damaged and was completely unusable. There was minimal damage on the box, so it appears it was shipped this way. The door was jammed closed and was off about a quarter inch.

Poor construction for a safe.

This is a functional safe...nothing spectacular.  It is light weight, can be installed easily.  The installation bolts/screws are not particularly good.  I used better ones from Home Depot.  The holes in the rear are too small for most laptop/iPad cables.  The lock is functional, but lacks in strength.

Sentry Safe 1.2 CFT

We had a large sentry safe in our house for 24 years with great service. We’ve given it to our daughter for I’m sure many more years of service. We bought this smaller safe because we moved into a condo and didn’t need such a large safe. This safe is the perfect size for our needs. Very easy to set up and bolt down. Excellent!!!

Good size for important paperwork. I like that it has a shelf for segregation of categories, and that it is pre-drilled for mounting it to a stud. I especially like that it has a key backup in case the batteries die. Thieves will look at it and think it is loaded with cash and so not look elsewhere, so I will fool them and keep my money under the mattress (LOL)

This Sentry Safe X125 is the perfect size. I was able to secure the back of the safe with wood screws to the studs in the wall along with the bottom of the safe with wood screws to the shelve it sits on.  It was easy to assemble and program. If you have questions about this safe, there are plenty of reviews online on "You Tube".

Safe Mounting, Size, Assembly

This was a great purchase for me. Not fireproof so I bought some fireproof folders for important things. It’s large but lightweight. It won’t stand up to a thief with tools and time but it appears pretty sturdy as a deterrent and I don’t have to hide the Rolex in my sock drawer. Good touchpad code entry with key backup.

Great for entry level home safe

We bought this for our Grandson when he thought he needed to protect his treasures at the age of 12. He is a very mature & sensible preteen. This safe is portable so you don't want to leave it out in the open where it would be the first thing someone would see & pick it up & walk off with it but it's a fantastic deturrant for some. Just the right size for those smaller items and important papers. Securred both by combination & key as a back up in case the battery dies. We would recommend & probably would purchase as gifts again.

Great Starter Safe

Just opened the box and the door is messed up.  When you open the safe the door “drops” and when I attempt to secure the door I have to lift it up to fully close it.  Expected better quality from Sentry.  I did submit an email reference the warranty.  I hope the safe gets repaired or replaced.

Faulty craftsmanship?

We were looking for a security safe for our RV.  This one fits the bill perfectly.  Large enough for our important documents but not overweight and cumbersome to handle.  The pre drilled mounting holes are perfect for securing to a closet floor so it doesn't just walk off.  Very easy to set up, secure and use.

Perfect safe for our RV

I bought this safe in order to keep my pistols and important documents safe. I have been really impressed by its quality and the keypad feels well built. The two thick, steel bars that lock the safe when closed and latched give me a great feeling of security.  I would recommend this safe to anyone looking to keep important documents, it has a shelf as well so you can separate the things you are locking up. It also comes with the necessary components to secure the safe to your floor. Just for reference, I’m able to comfortably fit two mid sized 9mm pistols, six magazines, all of my important documents, pistol/rifle cleaning kit and accessories, and that’s just on the bottom level. With the shelf installed I’m able to fit several other items. 

To sum up, this safe is definitely worth the price.
