I love this mattress! The Embody 14" Hybrid by Sealy is AWESOME! Tis mattress is soft but firm at the same time. It is heavy. When it was delivered the packaging was beat and banged up pretty good but the mattress was wrapped in many layers of plastic and was in perfect condition. The only instructions were printed on the outside of the box that stated 1. Unbox, 2. Unroll, 3. Enjoy. As I stated before the mattress is heavy so the instructions are true but not very easy for one person. Once you remove all the plastic the mattress begins to decompress and inflate. Once the mattress is inflated and positioned correctly on your frame you are good to go. The mattress is super comfortable! Sitting down on one side of the bed does not disturb the person on the other side. I look forward to many good nights sleep.

Loving My New Mattress

After several months of researching mattresses, coming to the conclusion that the only 2 choices are to spend $10,000+ on a mattress that will last around 6-8 years or spend less than $1000 on a mattress that will likely last 2-3 years, I took a chance and ordered this hybrid off Sam’s website when it was on sale. We have only had it a month but so far, WE LOVE IT. There is no movement of the mattress when either my husband or I turn,  get in or get out of bed. The memory foam as the top layer makes it soft and cozy but the support from the coils is perfect.

So far so good!

I've never owned a half spring/half memory foam hybrid mattress before and now I know what I've been missing. I'm very picky about mattresses as I've had neck and back problems over the years. I've literally spent ten's of thousands of $ trying to find a mattress that is comfortable for side sleepers but firm enough to keep my neck and back aligned. This 14 inch Sealy Embody does exactly that which was quite a surprise as I've had mattresses delivered through the mail before and I ended up giving them away or banishing them to the guest bedroom. The springs & mattress seemed fine and undamaged despite being rolled up, squished, transported by UPS and left in the rain which made the box mush. Luckily it was wrapped very well in thick plastic and remained unscathed. There are multiple layers of high quality memory foam (see pics for measurements) and it didn't make me feel like I was sleeping in an oven. The springs provide a firm base at the bottom of the mattress and their each individually wrapped (yes I checked, see pics). It is covered with a soft protective covering that has a hidden zipper. Overall I'm extremely impressed and very happy with this Sealy hybrid mattress and as a huge bonus it's shipped to my front door saving me from having to beg, borrow or pay for a truck & the manpower to get it here.

Sealy hybrid, now I know what I've been missing

This is one of the most comfortable (soft) mattresses I’ve slept on! My whole family has taken turns sleeping in it and everyone agreed it provides a good night sleep. The only issue I had was getting it out of the box, unrolled, and set-up because of the size and weight. Perhaps the box should suggest 2 people for the task. Otherwise, it’s beautiful and very comfortable.

Mattress

We are using this mattress with an adjustable bed and it works great.  The fabric is not as nice as a much more expensive mattress but considering the price, it's a good value.  At first I thought the mattress was too soft, but after sleeping on it for a couple of weeks, that is not the case.  If you prefer a pillow top mattress, then this might not be for you.  If you just prefer a soft mattress, then it's great.

Great Mattress for the Price

The Embody by Sealy 14" Hybrid Mattress - Medium Soft - Queen is a great mattress if you are looking for a mattress has a body forming tendency. It feels like you are almost sinking into the mattress.  It is also best  for those who either do not need a box spring or if you like a really tall bed. All in all it is a decent mattress for the price if you like one more towards the “soft” side.

More soft versus medium

Purchased this for a guest bedroom. When my daughter came home for the holidays, she slept on this mattress and said she had amazing sleep! I’ve laid on it too but have yet to sleep on it. The frame I have is older and could easily have quick wear and tear without a box spring so I’m currently waiting on that to come in. Overall, I’m very satisfied with my purchase. I really enjoy this brand of mattresses. This is the second one in our home. Not recommended for a person who needs a germ mattress. This one you literally feel like your body sinks into it perfectly.

It comes ins nice, easily moveable box for two people. Once opened, it really only took about 30 minutes for it to fill out. We decided to purchase the Members Mark adjustable base to go with it and it works great! Comfortable bed - not overly firm if you need a lot of support.

Great with adjustable bed

This mattress is a lot softer than I was expecting. Will have to wait and see how it holds up, but so far so good.  The one negative is how HEAVY this thing is.  I actually felt bad for the delivery guy. It took both my wife and myself to move this around. It was packaged well even though the box it was delivered in was coming apart. It took shape pretty quickly after we unpacked it.

These items were returned... unopened...but.....how is it that Sam's doesn't inspect what they send .out?. ... case in point ... the bed box was busted open and didn't even have a top on it any longer!   It looked as if it had been in three wars!   !
