What a comfortable mattress. The twelve inches of foam provides not only support but a relaxing softness like floating on a cloud. I usually wake up with a stiff lower back. With this mattress I  have minimal stiffness when I  wake up in the morning.

Great mattress!

Besides the fact that the mattress is heavy to move, this memory foam mattress is super comfortable. The fabric covering the mattress is attractive and washable. You can definitely see and feel the high quality of this foam mattress. I would for sure buy one for my other bedrooms.

Quality and comfort

Most mattresses were Firm, but I found this one that was medium and it is very comfortable. It came out of the box without any odor as some do have an odor.  I did research a lot before I found this one and I’m happy with my purchase.

Superior out of the box mattress

I got the medium/firm queen size mattress. It shipped to my front door and was heavy but easy to unpack, I recommend 2 adults to carry the box.  It comes vacuumed packed. I let it rise for 24 hours before sleeping on it. The mattress is very comfortable, soft yet providing great support. I am especially impressed about the relief on my pressure points! I’m very happy with this mattress!

A great nights sleep!

Honestly I have always been skeptical about a mattress in a box. I prefer my mattress with some firmness and this does not disappoint. 
The mattress was securely wrapped up in the box and also had another layer of plastic over it. It was very easy to unpack and get set up. I waited 24 hours before trying it out. I was shocked at how firm and comfortable this mattress is.  It is firm but yet slightly molds to your body. It is super comfortable. Overall this is a high quality product and would recommend.

Quality mattress

Very nice mattress!! Well made and easy to setup. It only took a few hours after taking the plastic off for it to fully expand. No weird smells like some people complain about from these types of mattresses. I absolutely love it!!! I got the soft . However, my husband does not like it as much as I do. I think he would sleep better on a more firm mattress. He is heavy set, so I don’t think the soft mattress works well for heavy set people. It’s too bad because I sleep great.

Embody by Sealy mattress

Good deal when on sale but I wouldn't pay full price for it. Took 2 weeks for it to arrive and I had to inquire about it before I got any shipping updates. Website was no help.as it wouldn't give me any info as to where the mattress was or even if it had been shipped. Once it arrived, the paperwork said it was manufactured the day before it arrived. Once I got it out on my platform, it only took a few hours for it to fully expand to the full 12 inches. Sleep on it that night and it was very comfortable with good support. There was a slight smell but since I had covid I have not been able to smell very well anyway. So that doesn't bother mye at all. Good deal and good mattress for the sale price.

Get it when it is on sale.

The mattress is decent for the price considering how expensive mattresses have become.  This is the soft version but it is not as plush as I expected.  It is a bit on the hot side over the course of the night.  This mattress is a replacement for an older mattress in the guest bedroom and is perfectly fine for that purpose.  I would consider something better however for a daily.

12 Inch Sealy Foam Soft

The Sealy soft queen memory foam mattress comes shrink wrapped in a box and weighing 70 pounds. This is a perfect for people who don’t have a truck to haul a mattress or are restricted by close quarters. You can get it to your bedroom, take it out of the box on your bed and let it expand right there. The directions say to allow it to expand for 24 hours. It was completely expanded within four hours!!

I have failed back surgery and it is difficult for me to get a mattress that I can sleep on; including this one. You’ll feel yourself sinking into the memory foam and not being able to move. I also have neuropathy in my hands and feet so it was very difficult to get out of this bed. 

I also found this bed to be “hot.” I have never sweated in a bed before this one.

Not the mattress for me

This review has nothing to do with the manufacturer of this product, Sealy. This review is solely for the distributor Sam's Club. This product is mislabeled on Sam's Club's website. The firmness level is stated on the description of this product to be "medium firm." However, the box that contains this product says "soft." We did not open the first shipment and asked that Sam's Club correct issue. They sent another mattress, but again, the box was labeled "soft." We did not open the box for either mattress due to the label on Sealy's box. We did not want to be stuck with an unwieldly open-box soft mattress. The return process has been difficult because of the fact that Sam's club shipped us two soft mattresses. I was finally able to obtain two FedEx return labels through the online chat, and hand-delivered both 100 pound mattresses to a FedEx location. Luckily I have truck and am able-bodied. Please be advised that the firmness level of this product appears to be inaccurate on Sam's Club website.
