I wanted a very firm mattress and mission accomplished. Sealy is the firmest mattress I have found. Has wonderful support. AAA+

Sealy Firm mattress

Sealy Mattress I had my mattress for a little over a week now. I love this one, it's nice and comfortable, I sleep better on this one.

The Sealy memory foam mattress is an exceptionally comfortable mattress. It is a firm mattress and gives plenty of support throughout the night. You will not sink into the foam. This mattress is 10” thick and looks really nice and modern on the outside. The cover of the mattress is made of quality fabric. It can be unzipped and cleaned which is a great feature. I would highly recommend this mattress.

A nice memory foam mattress.

You will need two people to handle the box as it is 70 pounds. But once you open and prepare the mattress in three easy steps, there’s really nothing else to do except enjoy the comfort of the mattress. It’s the perfect combination of firm yet plush and it doesn’t trap heat, which living in Florida is very important.

Comfortable and cool mattress

We received the mattress in a large square pillar looking box. Considering it had a queen size mattress in it,  I would  say the box seemed small. The box and mattress wrapping were in good condition.  The mattress had plastic wrapping around it to keep it rolled up tight in the box.  This plastic was easy to unwrap, no need to for a knife. Once all that wrap was removed the mattress was secured in second plastic to keep it clean and flat. Once that was opened, the mattress expanded to full height within minutes.  Despite all the plastic and the fact that the mattress was foam, there really was not odor to it. The mattress itself was very firm yet soft at the same time. It does sink more than desired when sitting to get off the mattress, but it doesn’t bother me much since the mattress is firm when laying down. I am the kind of person who likes a firm mattress and this suites me.  I would recommend the mattress to others.

Good quality firm mattress

The mattress comes rolled up in a box, which makes it very easy to move to its final location.  It is as heavy as a regular mattress so have a friend handy to help you. It takes approximately 24 hours to fully expand so I would wait until at least then to judge the comfort.  It has a slight chemical smell when you first unpack it but it dissipates within a day or two.  The mattress was cool to the touch when laying down and was very comfortable. It also had a good balance of firmness and "give".  I am a side sleeper and frequently wake up with a sore shoulder.  This was definitely more comfortable than my old mattress.  The firmness was also great in that it did absorb a good deal of movement without transmitting it across the whole mattress. I loved that it did not disturb my wife sleeping next to me when I roll over to switch shoulders during the night.  The only issue I had was that the edges of the mattress were not as firm as my previous mattress.  I sometimes like to lay on the edge when I power nap and it is pretty easy to roll over the edge if you do not pay attention.  Other that that, I am quite pleased with it.

Great mattress, but not for everyone

The Sealy Embody 10” Foam Mattress arrived in a quiet battered box. After inspection, I determined that there was no visible damage. 
With help, I removed the Embody mattress from the box and placed it on an adjustable bed frame designed for foam mattresses. The mattress was left to expand. I returned and found the mattress properly expanded. 
I experimented with different positions and found the mattress suitable for back, side, and I think stomach sleepers ( had for me to determine since I never sleep on my stomach). 
The embody mattress was placed in a guest bedroom. After a guest slept on the mattress, I added an additional 2” foam topper.  With the additional foam topper, I would rate the mattress a 4.5/5, without a 4/5. 
I would consider the mattress a medium firm. My only comparisons are a king size Sealy 10” memory foam, and a 12” Tempurpedic king. The Embody compares equally with the Serra mattress, but is inferior to the Tempurpedic. However, the Tempurpedic is priced multiple times higher. 
In my opinion this mattress is a good option, especially after adding additional foam layer.

Sealy Embody 10” Foam Mattress Acceptable

Probably the most comfortable mattress I've slept on in a long time. Anyone looking for a new one I would definitely recommend this one

Very comfy

The mattress is not even on both sides. One size is 1/2 inch shorter than the other. The side with the shorter edge is softer and the edges lack support. I feel like I am about to slide off the bed when I sit at the edge. I’m just glad it actually expanded, but it is not the full 10 inches.

Not happy with the height.  We let it expand for 4 days and only got 8 of the 10 inches advertised.  It’s firm enough for sleeping but the edges are not.  I also find it sleeps hot.

Just ok

Looked for a Firm mattress and thought this is a good one based on reviews. But this is not at all firm. Now I am stuck with a mattress which I can't return.

Wish there are some guidelines to measure Firm level and they have them published in the site so will be easy for us to decide.
