I discovered this wonderful rye bread when I ordered a Ruben sandwich a a small cafe. I ask where they get such a wonderful tasting rye bread . They said it is Schwebel’s Reuben Rye that they buy at a Sam’s Club. I finally found it at a Walmart. It is a heavy loaf and makes great grilled sandwiches and toast. Unfortunately, it is of either unavailable or out of stock.

Ever since I tried this rye bread and that was several years ago, I love it!  Just wonderful toasted.   Only one problem….I can’t get at the Sam’s Club at The Villages in Florida.  That’s a real bummer!   So when we are in Ohio, I really am so glad to be able to indulge. I usually take at least one loaf back to FL.

My favorite! Great full body and flavor. Large size slices. Good for toast, but I'm looking forward to a hearty Bacon/Lettuce/Tomato sandwich in the very near future!

Love this seeded rye!

I like this bread a lot.  However, there is something wrong with this loaf.  There are brown streaks in it and small dots of something red.  It tastes “off” and I may have to throw what is left out.

Got a bad loaf

Changed this bread, used to be a good size, now its small, not great to make a sandwich.  Everything  has to be fooled with and making it better, when in all actuality it isn't.
