Really like the way Samsung felt with the rebate. We had had the previous refrigerator for 4 1/2 years then two compressors went out in a couple of days. We purchased another Samsung and they refunded the full purchase price of the original refrigerator.

There are so many things we really like about this fridge.  We love the beverage center and the built in water pitcher for filtered water.  We love that the 4th compartment can be used for fruits and vegetables since we don't need a large freezer but do need more refrigerator space.   HOWEVER, the mini ice cube maker in our fridge never worked - it caused the freezer to ice over every time we turned it on, so we leave it off (not a big deal for us). Then, 2 1/2 years after purchase, there was ice buildup that blocked the refrigerator fan and caused the refrigerator section to stop cooling.  Bottom line - it's a well thought out refrigerator with great features but HORRIBLE engineering.

Great for the 2 years it worked

Love the design and layout of unit.  The ice makers however are awful.  The constantly dispense broken ice, cubes and bites - we have removed, defrosted, cleaned and reset multiple times.  Issue keeps occurring.  The water tubes to the trays are not iced over and are clear - water sometimes spills out of trays and then ices up the drawer and trays.  Super frustrating design and to deal with.

Ice Bites and Cubes are not worth it

Don't buy this fridge, it has dependability issues.  I'm not reviewing the service, but If the fridge was dependable, you wouldn't have to worry about their terrible service team.  We've had the fridge for 3 years and the compressor started making noise.  Ok, 3 weeks later after one reschedule, the guy replaced the compressor with a defective compressor and 1 hour later, it was like having a lawnmower running in the garage.  Not sure if this will ever get resolved

Questionable dependability

Ice Maker literally broke off in my hand when I went to reset it! Samsung Care only warranties their repairs for 30 days! Ice maker was repaired once and had the same problem maybe 6 months later! Now it's gonna cost upwards of $500! Cheaper to buy a new fridge of another brand!

Horrible Ice maker

This refrigerator has been standing in my kitchen for almost 2 years without any panels. I have checked the website over and over looking for availability of the colored panels I was promised when I purchased it. Now I find out all the colors have been discontinued with the exception of a limited few. What a scam. So now I will be forced to choose white or stainless which I could have had in any frig on the market back then. It's unfortunate that Samsung has put so much money into marketing the Bespoke line and not into the actual product they sold.

No Panels!!!

The front lower part of the fridge (frame surrounding the 2 compartments) is so hot that you can't touch it longer than 1-2 seconds for fear of burns. I've never experienced this before and consider it a safety hazard, particularly, with my younger grandchildren. It also impacts the ability of the freezer side to produce ice. I have to keep a cooler in the kitchen just to have any ice. Other dw I had kept breaking and I had to always wait on parts. Only 3 years old. I got rid of it and purchased a different brand. I've had nothing but problems with all of my Samsung appliances. What a huge disappointment. I guess my stove will be next.

Worst appliance I've purchased along with the dw

I'm confirming the other reviews talking about the ice maker going out. About 7 months after owning it, one of the section stopped freezing all together. Now 12 months into owning it the ice maker stopped making ice, the came out to fix and 3 days later the entire unite stopped working. Everything had to be thrown out.

Do not recommend

I bought this refrigerator and few months later the ice maker stopped working. The technician went 4 times, change the parts and still not working. I need Samsung to replace my refrigerator.

Ice Maker doesn't Work

I would not purchase this fridge. My icemakers both went out within a year, and at 3 1/2 years my whole fridge stopped working. I will have to pay for a service tech to come out and they said it might not be covered. Go with a different brand.
