I’ve been using the Samsung Q60D for a while now and it’s been a pretty solid TV overall. Nothing crazy high-end, but it does what most people need and does it well.
The picture is the best part. Colors are bright and pop a lot thanks to the QLED panel, and everything looks sharp in 4K. Movies and sports look great, and even regular TV looks better than you’d expect. It’s not going to give you super deep blacks like an OLED, but unless you’re really picky, it still looks really good.
Setup was quick and easy, and the smart system is simple to use. All the main apps are there, and it runs smooth without lagging all over the place, which I’ve dealt with on other TVs.
Now for the trade-offs. It’s only 60Hz, so if you’re big into gaming, this probably isn’t the one you want. And the sound is just okay—definitely not bad, but not impressive either. A soundbar would make a big difference.
Overall though, it’s a great everyday TV. If you just want something that looks good, works well, and doesn’t cost a fortune, this one gets the job done without any drama.

great 70" TV, great price

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This review is actually for an older Q60D. It is a great tv that has given me no reason to replace it after years of use. The color is great, it adjusts the brightness according to the light in the room, the contrast even on older films is wonderful, and my 4k blurays look fantastic.  Not to mention, the interface is very easy to navigate.

Great TV that has held up wonderfully

Great picture, great sound and soundbar NOT necessary…was so easy to set up and the Samsung remote is easy to navigate!

Longtime fan of Samsung

While the picture is clear, the sound is inadequate--especially when turning the tv on or switching channels.  The biggest problem is with the remote, which is pitifully inadequate and a real pain in the neck to operate.  It is a very cheaply made product and should be improved soonest.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This QLED 43 inch replaced the one that lightening got in our bedroom. The picture and contrast is great. The new OLED 65 inch in the living room is way too dark with contrast too black even after going through the menu and settings. Wish I had purchased the QLED for the living room too!

Great Picture

The tv is very nice, receptions and all. My concern/ don’t like is the remote control. The volume control and mute control is too close to each other, it always get in the way of each other. They should be a separate bottons. I also would like to get a sound bar but they are so expensive!!

The Samsung Q60D QLED may be the lowest-end model in Samsung's QLED lineup, but if you are not looking just for fancy features, it will be best value for your money. Its overall Ultra-sleek design is more aesthetically pleasing than most TVs in its class, the picture is well-tuned right out of the box, easy to set up and its built-in smart platform provides those without a dedicated streaming device a way to access the best streaming services.

I'm a fan of Samsung so yes I definitely went to their TV like always no questions asked! In our household almost all of the appliances  are Samsung, we used to have 55'' TV for our living room but we now upgraded it to 70'' and let me tell you it's the best thing ever!! I could watch my football game on it and the sound quality as well as picture quality is so amazing I just love it! That price tag is worth it honestly!!

Love love it!!

There is light leaking in to the picture around the edges making the blacks milky.  For what I've paid for the set I would expect a better experience.  

I've been meaning to contact support but haven't had time as it will need a repair or replacement.
