We purchased this refrigerator to replace a GE counter deep model. I'm glad to have forgone the counter depth. This refrigerator has so much more room. Even the on the door bins are much bigger. The tray that stores the ice cubes is the largest I've seen. So far it's working great and I was very satisfied with the price. No bells or whistles just a nice big refrigerator that's working great. Exactly what we wanted.

Love the size of the fridge and room inside.   It is a basic fridge with ice maker in freezer section.  No fuss no muss!   The storage bins are smaller but I am happy to have the extra room on the shelves!

No Fuss - great fridge!

I wanted the ice and water in the door but that would have taken up space. I'm glad I went with this one instead. I still have the ice maker in the freezer which is perfect. Great product Samsung!!

We bought the fridge online so we never got to see it in person. Thankfully we are really happy with it and it is as we expected. Two things I do think are important to mention however is that the produce drawers both rub the doors when you pull them out. I worry over time it will leave scuff marks on the dark color doors. The second thing I think that is notable is that when you open only the left door you can not close it until you open the right door. Something that is kind of annoying and hard for a 6 year old to remember.. Which worries me the door could be forced shut and break.

Great value

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I brought this refrigerator in January 2021 for my new home. It is the 1st French Door refrigerator that I have owned and I love it. I am a Samsung fan of many of their products and this product does fail to hold up to my expectations.  It is sleek, cools well and a great display.  My only issue with the refrigerator is when you place large items on the top shelf, they block the light in the refrigerator and makes it dim inside. Otherwise, I love my refrigerator. Great product for the cost.

This Samsung refrigerator model #rf28t5001 is beautiful, has great features, and at 28 cu. ft. is just the right size for our family.  Unfortunately it had a castrophic compressor failure at the age of 3 years and 10 months.  Fortunately the "sealed components" are covered by a 5 year warranty, but it has been an ordeal.  A lot of our food spoiled before we realize it wasn't cooling, and we've been without a kitchen fridge for over 2 weeks now.  Yesterday the Samsung tech told us it could not be repaired, so I am awaiting a call to see if Samsung is going to replace it with the same model or give us a credit toward a new fridge.

We have had this refrigerator for a year and a half. This is the worst refrigerator we have had. In the first 6 months the temperature sensor went out. We replaced it and now the fan went out. We replaced that and now the whole refrigerator fluctuates so much in temperature we cannot keep any food in it without worrying it will spoil. When you spend all this money for an appliance it should last longer than a year and a half.

DO NOT BUY

it's range temp over the   week from 38 to 52...but i have to use my own temp because it says it's fine at 38 the entire time...but my sour milk says it's not right
