One of my favorite wines and often hard to find!

Nice wine!

Brought as a gift, I went on a cruise and this was the wine my sister fell in love with and enjoyed our whole trip. I was surprised to see it at Sam's club, brought it as a reminder of the good time we had.

First tried on a cruise

Rare find,  very good wine,  light in the palette,  amazing flavor and smooth tannins.
I think the price will be rising soon, should be priced at about $35 a bottle,  that's why i bought 6 cases

Very good wine

Aging in the rum barrels creates a nice, mellow flavor. A great “go-to” wine when we don’t want something overly complex.

Great Value and Taste

This wine has no aftertaste and goes down smooth.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was my favorite out of the three! I love flavors of plum and and blueberries as well as the molassesy-ness of it. So I thoroughly enjoyed this red wine! You can also taste the vanilla and it adds a very nice sweetness! Perfect for the holidays and great with gouda cheese and marinara pasta.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Having had the privilege of trying Robert Mondavi's Private Selection white wines this summer, we were thrilled to have the chance to try now the reds! This Merlot was our favorite of the bunch, with its deep red color and smooth aroma! It is just slightly sweet with a mildly acidic finish. A very drinkable red that impressed even the snootiest of wine drinkers among us!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Robert Mondavi Merlot has a lovely aroma and rich color to it. The flavor is jammy, refreshing and complex. You can taste the beautiful berry and plum notes with a smoky oaky aftertaste (probably due to being aged in rum barrels). My husband and I had this alongside a hearty steak dinner and it was a great pairing.

It is good

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Usually not a fan of Merlot but this was a nice gift. Not to thick on the tongue it gives a hint of coconut but with a twinge of berries. Dry but not tongue popping dry. This would be good with beef .

Pleasantly surprised

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Unfortunately me and the ladies in my group did not try the merlot.  All of us are white wine drinkers so we thought a merlot was going to be a bit much for us.  After reading some of the review though I just may have to give it a try.
