I bought the 4x8 and 2x8 shelves in white as part of a garage rehab project I took on. These shelves are super sturdy, fairly easy to install and provide a lot of storage that is up and away. The pro tip I would offer is to ensure your studs are very close to 16 on center where you intend to install the shelves. Mine were slightly off and it made it a bit more tricky. In hindsight I would have chosen a better spot in my garage that wasn’t as far out of tolerance. Overall, I highly recommend these shelves and with proper planning, the install should be very straightforward.

New Age Exceeded My Expectations

I needed extra storage space for my garage. Was going to build one myself but I didn’t want to have a shelf that didn’t look too good. So I purchased this and worried that it would be too hard to put together. Not the case. This was rather easy to construct as long as you take the time to read the manual well. Sooo happy with this purchase!

Great Looking, Easy to Construct, Very Strong

We had bought a cabinet from New Age and we were very pleased with the quality of the cabinet so I ventured out and bought this combined package of the two shelves. The 4 by 8 and 2 by 8 shelf package worked wonderfully for our garage was able to put them both up the 2 by 8 on the sidewall and the 4 by 8 up in the front where we have a slight indentation it fit perfectly gives us lots of storage and it's such a clean look I'm very pleased.

Awesome shelves

We received all pieces as described in well protected packaging. The quality of the items is great and fit well in my garage. Living the look.  I would only have one negative. The instructions are not at all clear and could be reviewed.

Garage shelving and 9 piece cabinet

I installed the shelves in my garage and I’m able to fit my car inside again. The shelves are spacious and high-quality. They are sturdy and look great.  I’ve already recommended them to multiple friends.

This isn’t your ordinary shelving unit, this is bad *ss quality. It’s heavy duty and not the cheap stuff you’d expect elsewhere. Pretty easy to install, but need 2 ppl. This will last forever and hold all my stuff

Quality stuff!!!

Quality is great have not been able to hang them due to all the bad weather and very busy at work, going to warm up this week should be able to get them up and load them up.

Heavy duty shelfs

It's a solid product.  well built and looks like it can withstand a lot.  My only gripe is that because the top mounting brackets are attached via steel wire, the platform itself is not fixed solid in place, which means I cannot put a ladder up against it and it can move upward when pushed from below.  otherwise the grates and lip are nice to prevent things from sliding off.  Also because I wall mounted, it is hard to access this shelf from the side.  I wish I had ceiling mounted so I could pick things off when standing to the side of the unit, not only from the front.

Solid Build, Wish it had some enhancements

I had a VersaRac at my other house, so I already knew the build quality of the pro series wall mounted shelf was going to be excellent. The pro series wall mounted shelf looks the best in the market in my opinion. The reason I went with the pro series wall mounted shelf vs. the VersaRac was the idea of having a rack flush to the wall. However, the reason for this product being almost perfect is the spacing between brackets needs to have perfectly spaced studs. I wanted to install the shelf in the corner of my garage but I had no stud on the other end of the hanging bracket. I wish there was a little more flexibility with the hanging brackets. For example, a 24" long bracket vs. a 4" wide bracket (I can't remember if it's actually this size). Then having a corresponding bracket for the pad eye plates just incase a stud isn't available. I made it work for my garage space, but a little more flexibility in mount you'll have a perfect product.

Almost Perfect

Overall it is a nice product very well built but in trying to assemble I found missing hardware which prevents assembly.  In working with customer service I am told the replacement hardware will not be available for over a month and nothing else can be done.  So I am stuck with a product partially assembled and can not do anything with it while I wait over a month for the hardware.  For this reason I would consider looking at other options because of the headache of not being able to install and I am not going to take apart just to try and return.
