I’ve been drinking these shakes for years.  Some flavors are better than others but this is the best.  Great flavor with no chalkiness.  I use this to replace milk with my Cheerios and the taste is like Fruit Loops from when I was a kid.   I’m disappointed it’s only available for a limited time.  The fall pumpkin spice flavor was also really good but no longer available.

Best flavor yet

I recently tried the Premier Protein Lemon Bar shake, and I was honestly blown away. It has such a refreshing, bright lemon flavor that actually tastes like a real lemon bar—not overly artificial or too sweet like some protein drinks. The balance between tangy and smooth is spot on.

What I love most is how easy it is to drink. The texture is creamy without being heavy, and there’s no weird aftertaste. It feels more like a treat than a protein shake, which makes it perfect for busy mornings or a quick post-workout boost.

Plus, with 30g of protein and low sugar, it keeps me full and energized without any guilt. It’s definitely one of the best flavors I’ve tried, and I’ll absolutely be buying it again. Highly recommend if you want something different from the usual chocolate or vanilla.

Lemon Lovers, This One’s For You!!

I really like this flavor. It reminds me of the milk you drink after finishing a bowl of Fruity Pebbles or Fruit Loops. This is one of my favorite flavors! My only complaint is that it’s a limited edition and I can’t enjoy it year-round.

Great Lemon Flavor

So glad this was at an affordable price so I could try it. My house enjoys Premier Protein but are leery trying new flavors. There have few we did not like. That being said the price was good enough for us to try and we are pleased.

Tastes like fruity cereal milk.

I usually like the Cafe Latte only for that slight coffee flavor, but I tried this Lemon Bar one & WOW, it is SO GOOD!  All of the other flavors I've tried (Strawberry, Peach, Caramel, Cake etc.) they seem to have that "flavoring extract" taste to them and some are too sickeningly sweet.  This Lemon Bar is actually refreshing.

These lemon bar protein shakes need to be a permanent product! They are delicious. They taste like you just bit into a lemon bar.

Lemon Protein Shakes Must Stay!

I drink and enjoy a lot of the premier products. The lemon bar is okay, but I do not taste lemon bar at all, in fact I’m not sure what it tastes like…maybe a new mystery flavor.
In summary, I will not buy this one again.

Mystery flavor

This strongest flavor I taste in this is stale shortbread.  The lemon is not as prevalent as I had expected. It would be better with an increased amount of lemon and possibly vanilla.

Lackluster

First taste is almost like a crust from a pie but then it just taste like fruit loops. Yuck. Now if you like fruit loops, this is the drink for you.

The aftertaste is a little lemony, but overall it has more of a plain “bar” taste. I wouldn’t buy them again.
