These lights help lull me to sleep and awaken me a lot more gently in the morning.  I don't even need an alarm anymore.  I wake up with less headaches and frustration, and am considerably less irritated with noisy alarms not waking me up.  I am ordering more bulbs soon....

I have seen the hue product line online and on YouTube, seeing the various setups has been more than enough to convince me to get the starter set and expand it. Not much is needed for the holidays now, especially with the third party apps that work with it.

Best lights

I love them so much. They work great with the Amazon echo.  I just don't know how to get her to change the scenes. So I have to use the app for that. But set up is super easy.

I have used other brands of this type of WiFi lighting. So far, this has been the easiest to setup, the easiest to use and the most reliable WiFi lighting system.

I also love the versatility of the lights. We have several different lights connected. Some are simple and some are more fancy. They all work beautifully. individually or all together.

Super easy to setup and use

Great system by Philips. I received this as a gift and have loved being able to set color and brightness of our lamps. I use it 90% of the time with Google Home and we have loved that we can say "Hey Google, bedroom lights on" or "off" or "20%" etc.

At 60$/bulb these are still too pricey, that's the only reason for losing one star. I probably wouldn't have bought them myself until the price dropped. That said I love having them, so if cost isn't a big consideration go for it.

Great Product/System, bit pricey

I love the philips hue, I will continue to buy it when I can.
That being said the product is to expensive and to get more than one bulb at a time you have to purchase a new hub as well.
The system seems to work best with ios 9 or higher, unfortunately I am an android person and the sofware or apps I have come across don't cut the mustard.
I believe that the philips hue app itself should be able to do what the bulbs say they can do on the box, (ie) sync to music and movies without a 3rd party app

Love it,to expensive, needs better apps

After opening it up and trying it out, I realized it was not the current product version.  I read that the latest version has been out for a while (Other sellers list they started selling this on October 2, 2016) so it appears that Sam's was dumping the older stuff.  Disappointed that a Christmas was not as intended.

Old stock! Disappointed.

They sent me first generation bulbs and bridge when the picture clearly shows second generation. Was problematic trying to set up the bulbs as Alexa would not discover them. I had to put in serial number for each bulb to get them to connect. I have a house filled with hue bulbs and I have the second gen bridge so I had no use for this bridge.

Duped

As another buyer has stated, they sent a 1st generation hue bridge and it would not connect for the life of me. I tried almost everything, and regardless of that effort, I came out empty handed with no working product. Now I am angry and going to return these, I won't purchase these again. I will try another brand.
