[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I planted these seeds in late March and it took about 4 to 6 weeks and my front yard is lush green also got rid of the weeds since there is not enough sunlight for them to grow. Will buy more for my backyard

I was happy when I received the opportunity to try Kentucky 31 Tall Fescue... I didn't take out the old lawn and start from scratch, I just used a metal rake and loosen the soil, scattering the new seeds.. with a little time and care, my lawn is back to life! Beautiful and green, fresh & young... my home finally feels complete and doesn't stand out in the neighborhood as the home with the dead lawn! I highly recommend Kentucky 31 Tall Fescue if you are looking for a fresh new lawn!

My lawn came to life!

I spread quite generously in several areas and watered as instructed to keep seed moist and much of it did sprout and looks good but significant amount seems not to have after over 2+ weeks so concerned I will have to reseed some slightly bare areas.  Just a bit of disappointment so why 1 less star.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am writing to share my experience with the performance of Kentucky bluegrass in my yard over the past few months, I got this to fill in bare spots that my pet has created. Overall, Kentucky bluegrass has performed moderately in my lawn. The grass established itself within 3 to 4 weeks and developed a dense, attractive green color that really improved the curb appeal of my home. One of the key strengths I observed was its ability to self-repair from minor damage and wear, especially in high-traffic areas of which my dog maintains. Its fine texture and rich color made it visually appealing, and I appreciated how well it tolerates my mowing schedule, which was typically once per week. However, I did notice that Kentucky bluegrass struggles during the hotter, drier months. Without consistent watering, certain patches run dormant and loses color, particularly in full-sun areas my shaded area of my house flourished. I maintained the lawn with regular mowing, watering, and soil conditions here are clay with undernutrition soil. Under these conditions, the grass performed above expectations for as hot as I planted it. In conclusion, Kentucky bluegrass has been a challenging experience. A great addition to my landscape. With proper care, it provides a lush, classic lawn appearance, but it does require consistent watering and maintenance during the summer heat.

Disappointed in this seed. Seeded, covered lightly with straw (to protect from wind) and sprinkled daily, yet maybe three blades per square foot have germinated.

Kentucky 11 didn’t grow

Planted this product the 1st of sept 2025 have not seen any germination of seed yet what so ever. Purchase it from big box store. It is now 1/23 still nothing! Water 2-3 time daily as directed per manufacture. Planted some left over different brand seed , it's doing fine about 3" tall now , very disappointed with your product!

Absolutely not !

I overseeded using the 40# bag. Now everywhere I planted it, this horrible, shaggy, fast growing, wide bladed monster grows. It looks terrible. I had a lawn expert look at it, and he recommended killing the lawn with glysophate herbicide and starting over. The good news is that the muddy areas in my lawn have been replace by something green. (Planted spring 2021)
