Oyster Bay is a founding member of Sustainable Winegrowing New Zealand and a leader in water conservation and wetland protection. They are also specialists with Marlborough's signature red, Pinot Noir. You will find this to be a bright and vivacious wine with good purity and fruit flavors anchored by an earthy undertone. A fine choice for pork or salmon.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my first time having this and I’m already liking it. The first sip tasted so fruity and light that it’s so easy to drink. From the second sip I tasted some smoky taste underneath. It’s a very nice wine that I’ll definitely purchase again.

The taste of this wine was super smooth and paired perfectly with a raspberry cheesecake for dessert! You can taste nice subtle fruit flavors in the wine . Not too sweet and not too bitter !

Delicious and smooth

I was worried about it being too dry, but I was pleasantly surprised by its soft fruity flavor. Plenty of deep dark berry notes without being overly sweet. I’m curious to see how well it would pair with a juicy steak. I may just try Oyster Bay’s other wines.

For the price point, it’s definitely a go-to. It’s pretty fragrant, but I do not taste the black plum notes they claim to have. Overall, definitely a must-try!

Your Everyday Pinot Noir

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was pleasantly surprised by this Pinot Noir by Oyster Bay. Pinot noir is the type of wine I typically always drink and I would label myself a bit of a wine snob. For the price, this is one of the better Pinots that I’ve had. Right when you open the bottle you can smell the rich blackberry aromas. On taste, it has a very bold berry flavor with a smooth finish. I had it as an after dinner drink but I could definitely see this paired nicely with a steak at dinner. I’m not saying this compares to some of my favorite valley red wines however for what you are paying, it’s very good.

The taste is rich and full-bodied, with a nice balance of fruitiness and earthiness. The aroma is inviting, with hints of cherry and spice. The wine has a smooth finish that lingers pleasantly on the palate. The 750 ml bottle is a great size for sharing with friends or enjoying over a few evenings. My only slight disappointment is that I found it to be a bit on the pricey side compared to other similar wines. However, considering the quality and taste, I still believe it is worth the investment. Overall, I would give the Oyster Bay Pinot Noir Red Wine four stars for its delicious flavor and enjoyable drinking experience.

Okay for the price

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great Pinot Noir! This bottle plus a grilled steak made for the perfect evening. I liked the screw top so you can take it anywhere without worrying about a bottle opener, too. I will definitely be getting this again!

Tastes Great!

I ordered from the target and as soon as I got home I opened it.   The wine is good but a little dry for me.  Next time I’m going to let it breath to see if flavor changes
