The Nordic Ware Aluminum 16” pizza pans are a great size.  One has holes in the bottom for an extra crispy crust.  The second does not have holes for a regular crust.  One drawback it cannot be put in the dishwasher but should be washed by hand. These pan will be great for homemade pizza as well as store bought pizza.  I can also see using the one for baking cookies!

Nordic Ware Aluminum 16” Pizza pan

Last week, I used the solid pan for a frozen pizza we were having for lunch.  I was impressed by the crust on the pizza as the pan turned the crust golden brown and not overcooked and dark brown. However, I was not thrilled that it said to be careful when using a cutter to cut the pizza as it would mark the pan so I transferred the pizza to another pan for cutting.  The pan cleans up very nicely too.

The set of two pans is a great value.  The pans are a light weight aluminum. Both pans cooked food very well.  Pizza cooked as expected on the pan with holes. Cooking roasted potatoes on the solid pan cooked in the oven perfectly.  The pans fit the size of standard frozen pizza.

Quality

I personally love the pan with holes better but only because I prefer a crisper crust. We made a pizza though that called to be baked on parchment paper, but it still turned out well and kept the crispy crust down to a minimum. Absolutely love the little “feet” the pans have so the air circulates while cooling. Clean up is easy.

Perfect pizza pans

These two metal pans are a nice large size. I made dough and baked up two pies. For years I've been using baking stones so i was expecting the thinner metal pans to give a crisper crust than they did. I baked the pizzas longer than the recommended time and still had only a soft crust.

Good pizza pans: not great but very good. The reason that I gave them 4 stars instead of 5 is that I would prefer them to be just a bit heavier. If I could, I would have given them a 4.5 rating.  To see which my family preferred more, perforated or solid, we had an old-fashioned bake off. The jury came back with a slight preference for the solid pan. The pans do distribute heat evenly and make an evenly baked crust. I have a gas oven so I can't guarantee what will happen in some electric ovens. The pans clean up very easily. One tip to pass along: I always slide my pizzas off onto a cutting board to cut them. This keeps the pan from getting grooves/scratches/cut lines.
