I've used this almost everyday to make protein ice cream It s a great way to give into my love of ice cream and eat the whole pint of 350ish calories, 62g of protein, and only 15 carbs!! 

There are some tricks to using the cream that will put less stress on your new machine. The first is freeze your recipe without the lid to minimize the hill that forms after frozen. When ready to Creami, pull the container out 15 mins before and let it thaw a little bit. After the 15 mins take a spoon and level out the hill on the top of the pint. Make sure the top of the pint is as level and flat possible so the blade will spin evenly. Last run all sides of the container under warm water for 3 to 5 mins. You will see the ice pull away from the side of the container as you do this. After that run your program on the creami and it should be ready to go if you used higher fat ingredients. If it comes out chalky just re-spin and it will be creamy and ready to eat after that. 
These steps may seem laborious at first, but it's not given I'm consuming a low calorie, high protein snack I get to count as one of my 6 daily meals. Once you go through the steps a few times your first expectations
of immediate sweet gratification dwindle and you realize it's still a lot faster than waiting on go puff to deliver a pint of 1500 calorie ice cream that will show up on the waistline later.

I've been creaming for my Creami

I really enjoy this product, its much smallwr than i expected so it fits on the counter easily, the recipes it comes with are easy to follow and the ice cream is amazing!

Great product!

I have only tried the vanilla and dairy-free recipes, but both are tasty and had ingredients that were not difficult to find. I love the milkshake option as well! I can't wait to try some more of the recipes. The Ninja CREAMi  is perfect for the hot Louisiana summer!

Easy and delicious!

Love this machine, it is so good. The shipping was fast and easy. It is compact and the fact that it has 4 Pint cups was a selling point for me. I am not a member of Sams Club, however it was simple for me to get this product, there is a fee for non-members, but it was worth it for me. 
Thank you Sams Club for allowing non members to be able to purchase products that are hard to purchase elsewhere.

Best Purchase

We have had the Ninja Creami Breeze a few weeks now and have been impressed with the results that we have gotten.  We've done a mixture of sorbets, regular ice cream and light ice cream; all have been flavorful and had a nice texture.  The recipe book gives quite a few recipes and does a nice job in giving dairy-free and/or glueten-free options.

Ninja Creami Breeze - lives up to it's reputation!

Love my Ninja Creami Breeze.  I'm able to make a healthier ice cream without totally blowing my health goals.  The only drawback, the machine is loud!  And I've yet to find extra cups to go with this model.  Thankfully, this machine came with 4 cups, but since you need to freeze your ingredients first, it would be nice to have more, so I could prep more especially if I have visitors.  Great concept, not sure why they're
so hard to find.  Recommend going to YouTube for videos to help you get started with lots of handy tips.

Here's to healthy ice cream!

I have been wanting a Ninja Creami for well over a year, but kept telling myself I didn't really need it and didn't have the counter space. Finally, I got tired of arguing with myself, and when the Breeze model became available at my local Sam's Club, I snatched it up. There are so many online videos you can watch with recipes, tips, and ideas, and those have been very inspiring and helpful. I enjoy having high protein, low-fat, ice cream in the evenings, guilt-free. 

There is a learning curve, and you definitely want to make sure to let your pints thaw a little before you spin them if you have a particularly cold freezer, as I do. I always make light ice cream, which always requires a re-spin or two. There are reports of machines catching fire, and this sounds like it's primarily because the pints are so cold that the machine is being overworked and overheats. The other reports are of the blade digging into the sides of the plastic cup, which is why it's really important to shave down any bumps or lumps on the top of your pint before you spin it so the blade is level on the pint. You can rest assured both Sam's and Ninja will stand behind the purchase though, but always good to know the positives and negatives of a potential purchase. 

My current favorite flavor combo is chunky monkey where I use an 11.5 oz chocolate protein shake, 3 tablespoons peanut butter powder, 10 g sugar free instant chocolate pudding powder, and a mashed up banana in the pint before freezing. After the second spin, mix in a handful of mini peanut butter sandwich cookies or chopped peanuts if you like crunch and can afford the calories, and you've got a treat worthy of an ice cream shop in the comfort of your own home. If you and/or your family love ice cream and creativity and have a little patience (because you're not going to have ice cream until the day after you unpack this machine) this could be the kitchen appliance you've been waiting for. It would also be more valuable to those who like smoothie bowls, milkshakes, gelato, whole fruit sorbets, and frozen alcoholic cocktails on a regular basis or people who want or need to control the ingredients in their frozen treats. 

However, if you're not a big smoothie, sorbet, or milkshake lover or don't have dietary ingredient considerations and are satisfied with the low-fat, high protein ice cream pint flavor options in your local grocery store freezer, I would argue this machine will not save you much money over the long run, as ingredients for ice cream may actually cost more than buying the frozen pint. This may be especially true if you live alone or with other people who don't eat your ice cream pints when you're not looking.  If you're on the fence but curious, I imagine in the next year there will be many of these at thrift shops and online resale sites as new small appliance interest tends to ebb and flow. If you're leaning heavily toward owning one, Sam's has a nicely discounted price over most retailers with four pints instead of the regular two. Your biggest issue may be finding one in stock. I haunted the app for a month before my local store had them available, and they were gone within the week.

Mostly Worth the Hype

I have been making home made scream for 6 years now. I own several ice cream makers. I had high hopes from ninja as I own many of the brand's equipment which in general I love; but Creami is a way overpriced disapointment. The ice cream comes out in kind of shaved ice consistency. 

In conclusion I would recomend for smoother, creamier, nicer consistency ice cream $50 Cusinart machine (you can buy extra chill rings online ). I keep them in the freezer always, so every time I want fresh ice-cream they are ready in 1-2 hours. Cusinart doesn't require you to pre-freeze the ice cream fro 24h so you are much more flexible. You just have to use chilled ingredients for mixing the icecream. Cusinart gives you a true creamy consistency, even with low or non sugar and non fat. I found that Ninja creamy makes okay ice cream only if it is cream and high sugar base - so what's the point of making home made ice cream if you can't make it healthy? there is many delicious and organic store bought options.


The only thing we use Ninja creami for is to "fluff" the left overs of the ice cream from previous days (if there is anything left from cusinart).

meh - not worth the money go with $50 Cusinart

Great concept. They still need to work on the cleaning process. The rod comes down into the ice cream and then back up into the machine. There was no way or no instructions to clean it. Also the top you can no longer see through it but the ice cream and liquid get in between the layers of the top. That is this mold waiting to happen I returned it.

Needs improvements

1. takes up to much space for a machine that        only has one function 
2.  price point way out of line!
3. Seems to need a bunch of sweetener to make sorbet. 
4 something is missing from the creami's I just can't figure out what. 
The only good thing is cleanup of the machine %26 cups was easy. I recommend pass on this Ninja %26 pick up a Blendtech or any other high powered blender. I can do way more with my Blendtech.
