I'm really enjoying it. It zips around the house. I haven't taken it outside yet. I'm kinda having a second childhood moment. I bought a hundred pack of batteries for it too. It was a great value on sale too.

Christmas Wish

Nice truck. But the charging cord dept door will not stay on! I have to put tape on one end so it will stay on.  My Grandson has a smaller version, but in a 4 wheeler has no issue's at all, other then run time. But it seems to be actually what's it's suppose to do.  But if someone knows that trick please share it with me keeping the door on I appreciate it.  Would have rated 5 ☆☆☆☆☆ but the charging door keeps is from being that!

Charging cord door Sucks!

Steering is very sensitive hard to keep it. Going straight difficult to correct left, turns right, turns needs a more sensitive controller. I do know that that would add to the cost.Overall, grandson had a great time with it!!

Where can we get a more sensitive controller??

I purchased this truck for my grandson's Christmas (2024).  My husband carefully took it out of the packaging in case we had to return the item.  My grandson already has a rather large RC Monster truck, so my husband has knowledge of it's operation, maintenance, charging, etc.  There are NO working lights or engine noise with this truck.  It would have been nice to see some working headlights, over cab lights or even working taillights and engine noise.  The USB cord is long which is convenient for charging.  However, there is a minute, recessed, pen head size red light next to the ON/OFF switch.  The on/off switch has to be turned to the OFF position for charging.  When the item is fully charged the extremely small red light will go out.  We had to use our reading glasses to even locate the charging light.  My husband turned the vehicle up side down on it's roof and ran the vehicle's rear wheels and right turn/left turn toggles to ensure they were in working order.  He ran them for quiet some time.  All the vehicles screws were checked and tightened.  One item of note is that the front wheels may seem very loose.  That is the way the vehicle is manufactured.  Just ensure all wheels are tightened before and after each operation.  Try to avoid your child from hitting obstacles at an angle as this will put extreme pressure on the front wheels(s) and they could be broken off.  The instructions will address this with cartoon images.  The vehicle is designed not to be used in deep water.  Wet grass is ok but no puddles.  Otherwise, the toy seems ok and was appropriately priced.  The other monster truck my grandson has (which is larger than this MEG ZILLA truck), was over $125, however had working lights and has lasted over four months with no issues. I got this for my sons birthday. In 1 week he used it 3 times. Thats how long it lasted. 1 week.

Lasted 1 week! Not worth your money!

If the truck breaks like the suspension, drive shaft, etc.,  NEW BRIGHT does NOT make replacement parts. You will need to throw the truck out. The linkage broke on the truck we bought and I have to throw it out, just 3 months old. I’ll NEVER purchase another NEW BRIGHT RC toy again.
