I've used this for years because it works. Heavy moss needs a little more. It was the cheaper price too.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Can't rate the product yet, as I need to wait for change in weather before applying product to my lawn to **** the moss.   Prior products from Lilly Miller have been good.

Areas of my yard is mostly moss and it's getting out of control.  Sprinkled on the moss and 24 hours later turning black, looks real dead.   I have a long way to go.  Will go back and do touchup spots I miss.  Any grass stays green.

WORKS REALLY GOOD!

This product really works.  Most of my lawn was covered with moss atop which the grass was growing.  Unfortunately the moss got first grabs at fertilizer and such.  I put this down when the grass was damp as directed and lucky for me it got rained in well.  The only place I didn't get completely good results was where the grass was fairly high and covered it.. bad news is the packaging.  No sooner did I place it on my table after being handed to me at the door, than the seam split and I had tiny pellets everywhere. They're like grains of sand…even smaller.  What a mess.  I swept up and saved what I could, but the rest even my super duper vacuum wouldn't pick up. I had to use the bare wand to suck it up.  The manufacturer should make the bags stronger, as another reviewer had the same problem.  These bags were not dropped or handled roughly.
Anyway, the product works like a charm. Just a couple areas will need a redo…I used a Scott's lawn spreader.
My only other complaint is that one bag was clearly marked $4.00…perhaps fall clearance.  Anyway they charged me full price and I lost some to the broken bag.

WORK!

The Moss Killer works ok, it takes about a week plus to start seeing results and requires a second application to do a decent job. I can't see how this would cover 5000 sq ft, more like 2000 if you want the moss gone. The PNW moss can be think after a winter of rain.

I have a small front lawn. Maybe 6000 sq'. Over the years I have applied triple the recommended amount of Moss out. I started using the liquid. When that didn't work, I switched to the granular. I've tested the soil and it's not that acidic. I've applied 10 40lb bags of lime pellets over the winter to try and neutralize the soil if that would help. I've also added lime during the growing season I've thatched ithe lawn after applications and got lots of dead stuff but it doesn't kill the moss dead and it just keeps growing. The area has some trees that partially shade the lawn during just part of the day. The moss grows even where it is all sun. The soil is not overly wet or compacted. It's winter now and the grass is all dormant but the moss is happy green as can be and still growing like happy moss. I've continually applied Moss out and put in more time than any normal home owner would ever. I'd love some real advice.
