Very good New York style crumb cake.  Similar to ones from when I was living in New England. These cakes are drier than a standard layer cake.  Recommend it.

Try it You will like it

I might be a little too excited about this crumb cake.  It is just as good as a certain national brand my mom likes, but much cheaper. It has just the right amount of crumb topping to soft cakey bottom.  I think I have told everyone I know that they need to try it, and I have bought it several times, both for home and to share.

This is dangerously goot.

I’ve loved Entemann’s crumb cake since I was a little girl and my grandparents would bring us crumb cake from New York. This crumb cake is every bit as good and brings back wonderful memories. Try it as a base for a variation on strawberry shortcake; you won’t be disappointed!

Only the best coffee cake ever! Just like the New York style coffee cake we used to pick up at our local bakery after church. Thanks for reviving my childhood memories of my early east coast days.

A Winning Recipe

We absolutely love this crumb cake! Recently went back to the Sam’s Club in Irving, TX, and was told that they will no longer be selling this great product. If I had known that last time, I would’ve bought five of them to put in the freezer. Please reconsider!!! This cake is definitely a winner.

Please Bring Back this Amazing Crumb Cake

My husband is a NY (Long Island) crumb cake snob. He has only like 2 homemade recipes - one from his mother and one that I had from my HS home ec class (but he doesn't know that). I purchased this and took it out of the package to a tray I normally serve things on. He didn't say anything, but went back for seconds. I asked if it passed the test, and said it did. Then I pulled the packaging out and admitted it was from Sam's.

Fooled my husband that it wasn't homemade

My husband has bought 8 of these since he first discovered them at Sam’s a few months ago.  He says they remind him of his mom’s coffee cake from when he was a kid.  He buys two at a time now; one goes in the frig, the other stays by the coffee pot for his morning nibble with his second cup of coffee.

This is a taste of Heaven!  Since leaving New York, there wasn’t any crumb cake here in Las Vegas that  
deserved to be called Crumb Cake. That is, until Sam’s Club offered this divine NY Style crumb cake. Yes……crumbs galore…..moist cake supporting the yummy crumbs. Tons of yummy crumbs.
If this cake disappears from Sam’s Bakery, I will be forced to move back to New York.

Members Mark NY Style Crumb Cake is to die for.

I bought this cake for the holidays. It has a good price point and it tastes good— I especially enjoyed it with coffee—but it’s not great. The crumb topping can be messy, but I didn’t mind it. While I won’t be running back to buy it again any time soon, it is a viable option for a potluck/partt dessert for those who don’t want to bake but also don’t want to show up empty handed.

Good but Not Great

The worst bakery item I’ve ever purchased from Sam’s. 
It was drier than dust and had no flavor. I would’ve returned it but it’s a 45 minute drive. ALSO,you need to box some  cookies that are just one variety. I want oatmeal raisin cookies without other varieties.
