Super delicious flavor!! Loaf is very big. Tastes fantastic right out of the pan or toasted with butter. Needless to say it didn't last long in my home.

Will be on my regular rotation of sweet treats

flavor was really good, the only problem with this, was that it was not baked all the way through, did not know this until we got just past the middle of the loaf, if not for that, it would have recieved a 5 star.

Not baked properly

If you’ve ever been to the UK and walked into one of those beautiful pastry shops (and you’re from the US) and thought “look at all of these flavor bombs”, well you were likely a little disappointed. As beautiful as it all is, it just doesn’t have the flavor that we Americans love. This loaf fits into that category. It’s not bad but it’s not good either. The thing I disliked most of all was the raspberry seeds or either the crumble was a lot like chewing wood shavings. That’s really the only way I know of to explain it.

Disappointed

The cake was dry and insufficiently lemony. More importantly, the raspberry filler flavoring was cloying, not just very sweet, but with a taste that lingered for seemingly hours in the throat. Imagine sucking on a heavy Stevia raspberry flavor extract and you get the idea. Not sure what went wrong here.

A Rare Disappointment

I had high hopes for this bread because it looked perfect and I love both the lemon and raspberry flavors. I was totally disappointed.  The lemon flavor was almost undetectable.  The raspberry was about the same although it did have what looked like real raspberry pieces in it and there was a slight hint of red color from the raspberries in the loaf.  I actually had one piece and threw the rest away.  Not worth the calories.  That is very unusual for me!

Not worth the calories

I thought this might be a refreshing dessert after a heavy meal. The sides and top were very dry and possibly overbaked. The flavor was disappointing. Sugar was the prominent flavor.

Tasteless sugar

I actually expected more from this loaf. It looked so delicious. However when I cut a slice and heated it up to enjoy with my morning coffee, the first taste was disappointing. It was lacking flavor and did not meet my expectations.

Loaf of disappointment

The lemon raspberry loaf was the absolute worst tasting cake I have ever had. Was extremely dry and left an oily after taste.  One bite of it was more than enough.  This item should definitely not be sold again!

Absolutely the worst cake anyone could ever have!

Not much flavor. Mostly burnt flavor. Its almost too dense and to get it cooked through theyvhad to over bake the bottom but then the top was not completely cooked.

Soooo much potential but missed it

The worst pastry I've ever had at Sam's or otherwise!!! Very odd tasting & no actual fruit mixed in through the bread or in the center!
