Old Fashioned Recipe

Ingredients

  • ½ tsp Sugar
  • 2-3 Angostura Bitters
  • 2 fl. oz. Member’s Mark Canadian Whisky

Garnish

  • Orange Peel Twist

Instructions

1. Muddle in rocks glass the sugar, angostura bitters, and a few drops water

2. Add and stir gently Canadian whisky and a large ice cube

3. Garnish with orange peel twist

Moldy Whiskey

Normally an EXCELLENT product but TWICE this year we have gotten a bad bottle where the whiskey smelled and tasted of mold and mildew. Both times Sam’s Club returns refused to replace the product or refund our money until EACH TIME we insisted on speaking to the manager. The second time the manager told us they would NOT take accountability for this faulty product again. This is a continuous issue as a similar complaint can be found on Reddit from seven years ago. Beware of Bad Whiskey at Sam’s Club!!!

Canadian Whiskey is very Comparable to Crown Royal

Good Value. I used to drink Crown Royal Canadian Whiskey, which is my favorite Whiskey. I was at Sam's and noticed this brand for about half the price of Crown, so I decided to try it. I found it very comparable and hard to tell the difference. So, now I can drink twice as much for the same price. :-)

I have always been a scotch drinker but I saw this at Sam's in Joplin, MO. The stupid laws in AR don't allow whiskey sales at the store we normally use. I saw this and had to try it. The price was amazing and the bottle was nice looking. I love this whiskey and have slowly been replacing it for scotch. The only problem is is bottle is very heavy and clumsy to pour. I later found Irish Whiskey under the Member's Mark brand and my wife loves it. Sadly the associate said it is being eliminated. Both are amazing values. Good job Sam's!
