This chair was a breeze to set up. It doesn't seem to be that heavy but won't be taking it to the beach. I doubt I would ever be able to get it back in the bag even if I did want to take it some where. I was hesitant about buying this chair in regards to safety. However, after sitting and getting up several times I have no concerns regarding stability. I have it set up in the reclining position. I am very happy with this purchase.

Great chair

OMG! Absolutely obsessed with this chair. I mainly got it for our long tournament ball games for my 2 year old to nap. But when I get in this chair my back problems go away. It is super comfy! A gal in my son's team had it, after seeing how easily my toddler fell asleep in it, I had to get one for us. So glad I did! Will be taking it to my girl's beach trip this weekend!

Needed this chair since yesterday!!

We bought 2 and had to quickly buy 2 more. Everyone loves these chairs. They are so comfortable and a perfect place for your littles to take a nap! My only wish is that they had a mesh back for better air flow, they do get a bit hot in the hotter months.

Great Chair.

This chair is super comfortable and easy to put together.  It is a little on the heavy side, but most well built camp chairs are. It is very stable and I love that I can change the back position from straight up to slightly reclining.   I'm very happy with my purchase.

Nice, Comfy Camping Chair

Awesome! My husband loves his new chair.  He likes to sit in it in the living room, it's not been outside yet. He's been wanting something similar but this was more affordable.  Great quality and can hold up to 300 lbs. when I first saw these on Sam's website I didn't decide fast enough, they were sold out when I had checked a few days later. When I saw them again on the website, I grabbed one right away, glad I did because when i looked back to get another one a day later, all sold out again!

Awesome!!

This is an awesome find if you have a "swinger" in your household.  Its a quick and easy set up (yes, really, really quick and easy!) and so portable it goes everywhere with us providing vestibular stimulation for children and adults along the autism spectrum.  Its a life changer and such a simple but totally functional design!

Parents of people with Autism take note!

Pro's: love the rocker feature, and love that I can leave the stand up and lift up the chair part to keep chair dry.
Con's: Cup holder is on the wrong side, needs a foot rest, not comfortable in the upright position, it's fairly heavy. I'm 5'4" and if you sit in the upright position the edge of the chair cuts in to the back of your thighs...solution: lean back a bit more and put a beer cooler in front of you for a footstool. If you don't have that, criss-cross-applesauce works since the chair is pretty wide. The "pillow" is too high...solution, took it off and placed it behind my neck. I would only recommend for a back yard or camping if you don't have to walk very far. Not tailgait worthy unfortunately. PS: make SURE you put the locking pins in place before you sit on it! It won't kill you, but you'll get a good laugh out of the group as it folds up on you and you tip over backwards.

Pros and Cons

Funny you should send me this request today.  Today is the first time my husband used his chair which was a birthday present and it broke!  The stitching on the upper right side came completely apart and the chair collapsed.  It did not tear, just completely came apart.  By the way my husband only weighs 232 pounds.

Not so good

These chairs are expensive and do not work as described.  They are very difficult to swing/rock and are not very sturdy.  The item is also not eligible for return so if you purchase them be prepared to keep them.  I discussed the matter with two different representatives and was told by both there was nothing they could do.  When I was transferred to a third representative to address the matter the phone cut off after waiting on hold for over five minutes.  This is the first and last time I will shop at Sam's Club.  Not impressed.

Terrible chairs and item cannot be returned

Broke on the first use.  Unfortunately we were on vacation on a remote island with no way of returning to a Sam's Club.  The stitching of the left "arm" holding the back up came undone.  We used a knife to poke holes through both straps and "sewed" it with paracord.
