Quality is good. Price is reasonable. System seems very sturdy and has served me %26 my son well with our workouts. I recommend this system. However, the directions are somewhat terrible, so be prepared. None of the pieces are numbered or lettered except for the hardware. There are so many pieces! They are not separated into bench vs cage, so there's lots to sift through. It definitely can get daunting and frustrating at times. The directions just show you what parts and hardware go where, but not the order they need to be done in. Tip for cage when attaching the upper cable: make sure to feed the cable through from top and through the pole opening and down to bottom before putting the pulleys in and screwing cable to bottom of cage. I didn't realize there is a bulb at the top of the cable and figured it would be easier to screw the cable to the bottom of cage first. Thus, there was some undoing and redoing in this section for me. I also thought I could attach the 2nd pulley to the upper pole and feed the cable through. Wrong again, the bottom part of the cable has a metal loop that won't fit through it pulley is already attached, so make sure to feed it through before putting pulley together. Hopefully that will save someone from unnecessary/redoing steps. Also, when putting the bench together: the end/bar caps to the leg bars are inside a plastic bag. I remember being frustrated that I couldn't find them, although it was late at the time. One more issue I had assembling the cage: the part that holds the weights for the cable system would not slide down the pole; it's shape was slightly off and preventing it from sliding down easily. Luckily, I have a rubber mallet and was able to tap it down bit by bit. Some paint was scraped off in the process, but after adding WD40 it slides up and down with the pulley without issue. Overall, I would still recommend this system. I was able to put this together mostly by myself (5'1"). I did need my son to hold the 3 back pieces while I assembled those parts of the cage.

Nice sturdy cage system to start an exercise room

We chose to assemble our own system and it wasn’t too bad. However, the instructions could have been written more clear as were only pictures with each step in the instructions and it would have made it much more helpful to have them spelled out so that we were sure of what we were doing. Besides that, everything seems to work great. The pulley system is sturdy and is easy to use either standing up, sitting up, or doing rowing exercises on the floor. The only thing we have an issue with is that the product has a slight defect in the front part of the chair: to lift leg weights the bar shakes/rattles and isn’t as stable as it should be. We think this is a defect as we have assembled it correctly but otherwise it’s a good system. One suggestion: prior to assembling the system we HIGHLY recommend getting horse mats (stall mats) used for horses to place to protect the floor. Overall we are very pleased with our versatile system!

Really a perfect fit for me

This unit has been a perfect fit for my garage gym. I could not have asked for a better unit. I am kind of curious as to why the 100lb limitation on the cable pull? If the cables are 2000lb tested, and 14 gage steel, why the limitation? Technically, I don't need to go passed the 100lb limitation right not, but it won't be long.
