I purchased this mat to upgrade my discount store mat. It is thicker and grippy. I know why it is top rated. I am please with this purchase. The bummer is that it did not come with a carry strap. I purchased a couple options for when I take it to the studio. I also followed the directions with letting it air out and using sea salt prior to using it.

I absolutely love my Manduka Pro Lite yoga mat! It's hands down my favorite mat, and I couldn't be happier with my purchase. Initially, I was a bit worried about its slipperiness, but after adding salt and leaving it outside for 24 hours, I noticed a significant improvement. Now, it provides just the right amount of grip without sacrificing comfort. It's pretty fascinating how such a simple trick can make a big difference. Overall, this mat is a game-changer for my yoga practice
