Great Honey

Love that I can find local-ish honey at a great price. Not using these for allergies or anything but I just like the idea that they are from Colorado bees.

Local honey without the price tag!

I like that it’s honey from local hives in Colorado. I’d buy it in Sam’s Club for the same price that I get it at Natural Grocers. So I don’t really see the point of having a Sam’s Club membership if I’m gonna pay the same price as I do in a local store.

I'll admit it. you got me. I've bought several bottles of this, stupidly thinking it was local honey. I erroneously came to this conclusion due to the words "Florida" and "Local" hugely emblazoned across the front of the bottle. But after a closer look, it has some "Florida Spice" on honey that came, very specifically, from somewhere in North America. Thanks for encouraging me to read labels at Sam's Club with more suspicion.

label reads: "Local Hive Colorado Honey is a blend of raw %26 unfiltered honey from Colorado beekeepers balanced with the classic taste of premium 100% U.S. Honey."

ingredients: 100% US Honey

the first label indicates at least SOME  Colorado honey is included; the actual ingredients labels doesn't promise ANY Colorado honey!

Based on experience, this so-called local Colorado honey has none of the floral complexity of actual 100% local hive Colorado honey purchased from local bee keepers.
