[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this dryer about a month ago. It replaced our Lady Kenmore dryer we purchased in 1989. The new dryer looks very sturdy, is quiet and is very easy to program. It has many standard, well described programs. In addition, most of the programs may be customized.
It has a feature that is truly amazing. It is called Steam Fresh. Just set how many items you want to freshen (1 to 5) or select a Big item (like a comforter). In a few minutes magic happens and wrinkles disappear almost completely from cotton T-Shirts!

Once I understood the various cycles, I could select the appropriate cycle for jeans, towels, sheets, etc. The items are always dry. Appreciate the door opening from the side or the top - just wasn't aware that opening from the top only goes to about a 45 degree angle. Not a problem - I just didn't notice in the store when I ordered. Cute music when the cycle is done. Easy connection to my wi-fi so I receive alerts when the cycle is completed. Feels solid. The lint trap is easy to access and clean. Overall, I'm happy with my purchase.

Does what I need it to do!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Went from an old 3.3 cu. ft washer to this gorgeous 5.5cu.ft. LG washer. Love all the wash cycles and the steam options. Clothes never been so clean and now my sons are doing their own laundry.  The wifi is awesome. I love that I can start my wash load from my phone while commuting home from work so that it's done when I get home.  The fresh steam cycle on the dryer is god sent! No more ironing in the morning. Simply throw in the machine and let it steam out the wrinkles while I'm getting ready.  Highly recommend this pair. Super quite too

The dryer looks so sleek and streamlined and it has a plethora of options for drying different types of loads at a variety of temperatures.  It's really nice and quiet, especially compared to my old dryer, and I have to admit that the little tune that it plays when the load finishes is cute :).  It's nice that the filter is right inside the dryer door, making it easy to remove and clean, and I actually REALLY love the door to the dryer because it can either swing out to the side or open downward, just depending on preference.  The overall dry time is quick, even for larger loads of bedding or towels, and I love the option of installing the LG app on my phone for additional features (although it's not necessary--just an added bonus).  This (and the washer) has genuinely been my favorite acquisition for my home this year and I feel so spoiled by both of them.  I had no idea how much I would fall in love with a laundry set but I'm thoroughly impressed with the overall performance.  Would highly recommend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This dryer is amazing we have both matching pair it's on the pricier side but it's really worth all the money my daughter loves to load the wash because we're always on the go and this stands all of it with a capacity of 7.3 it's really convenient to us I used to wash every single day now I wait and with 3 loads I am done for the week the smartness is a plus and really works for me since I am always out I can work it with the app I would definitely recommend if you're a bigger family or just have big things to wash like a comforter this has no problem doing so!

I used the steam function to refresh my dress pants and it worked great.  The typical loads I've dried have been towels, sheets, general loads and also my queen size comforter, which came out great.  I LOVE the option of the dual open door!  It makes loading and unloading very easy.

Great Dryer with Many Options

It is so much nicer than my older dryer that I had that was almost 10 years old. It was delivered and dropped off perfectly. Unboxing and setting up was quick and easy. I love the color and sleek look to it. The door opens both ways which is great for adding your items or pulling out your items quickly. We really love our new dryer and all the features it has, especially steam refresh cycles. It takes all the wrinkles out. Very quiet and dries fast!!

Amazing dryer!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've just recently purchased this washer with a matching dryer. As a retired couple, our home has a relatively small area for a washer dryer set. We set out to replace our previous set without size as a consideration. We love the many different settings which assure a perfect resulting wash. We also found that this set was much more compact yet providing the washing of larger loads. Our previous set was advanced but so large that the pair dominated the washroom.
Additionally, the noise our previous set made was deafening and distracting. It sounded like combat gaming background sound when running. We can't hear this new set at all. We purchased the pair based on research and settings but have found it even better once installed and running. Those are two things you can't value until after installation. LG is the new standard.

You Love it Even More

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I don't know why we bought a washer with wi-fi capability and something to do with steaming. Although it's a really nice washer, my wife really can't reach the bottom of the drum. The unit this one replaced was sounding like when the pilot applies the brakes and brings the turbos up to speed before heading down the runway. Yeah, it was that bad. While this is a really nice washer, I still can't understand why I bought something with all the fancy, unnecessary features.  So for those of you out there that think you need that stuff, this is your hot-rod.

I've had my dryer for about a month. It is a beautiful looking dryer and for the most part it works well. One problem I keep having is not completely drying a large load of towels. My old dryer would dry them in 50-60 min. The other day I used the towels setting for 1hr AND manual setting on hot for 1hr before they were dry.  My other disappointment is the light. The only time the light comes on is when the cycle is done thenl only stays on for 4 min. If you are hanging or folding as you take clothes out, the light goes out before you are done.  The light should come on when you open the door and stay on until you close it.

I bought this dryer a month ago, it requires two cycles to dry a normal load.  The default settings are preset and seem to they can only be changed for a single load.  I now use the heavy duty setting for everyday use.  Turbo steam is great for taking out wrinkles.  Lots of features that I have not tried yet, feeling that the level down dryer would work just as well at a much lower cost.
