I didn’t build it. My little sister did and she loved it and I loved it. It’s very beautiful. It’s a goodbuy if you’re really into legal and into other culture.

Classic Lego. Fun to assemble and easy too, quite a few pieces and stages, but entertaining nonetheless. I enjoyed assembling this set and it looks nice. Quite inventive. I have found something that will keep my hands and mind active. It is relaxing and is a joyful experience putting these sets together. I love all the elements and I think the way Lego includes a story behind the set you are assembling is an added bonus. I would recommend this to anyone who may be bored with current projects looking for something new but beware…these are addicting.

This build is beautiful. I loved putting the separate elements together and bringing them together at the end. I even made some modifications to the fan. It looks so good displayed on my shelf!

My "Good Fortune"

Like others, I found parts of the build are very loose. The mandarin just sits on top, the vase will wobble and fall. It's great to set up the individual components but putting them together could use some super glue. I haven't started the fan just yet, you have two ways you can design it. I'm definitely choosing bag 7 with the Kingfishers birds. Though it would have been nice if one could set up both designs, say a smaller mini fan? But overall, I got this when it was sale so I'm happy. Even if it's June.

Lovely build but has a few challenges

The design of this LEGO set is absolutely stunning and well thought out, showcasing creativity and attention to detail. It was a joy to build, and the final look is very impressive. However, I was disappointed that the bricks did not stay together as securely as expected. Two of the three golden ingots and the orange fruit  fell off with minimal handling, which made it a frustrating experience 

If LEGO could improve the sturdiness of the connections, this set would be perfect. Overall, it’s a visually fantastic set, but the lack of stability detracts from the experience.

Beautiful Design

I was so excited for this build I thought was beautiful before I got it.  Then I tried to build it.  Omg it fell apart numerous times, you can’t move it after building it because it falls apart everywhere. Vase doesnt hold up, “Tray” is a joke.  Zero on sturdiness.  Fan falls apart too.  Nothing fashioned together to stay put.  Such basic techniques with no interior strong construction like builds were before.  So disappointed 😞this was in memory of my brother and it’s nearly Junk.
