I purchased this as a gift for my grandson and he loves it. As far as the assembly, I cannot rate that since I'm not sure how it was to assemble.

This set was easy to build and fun to play with, the limbs are articulated and you can change up how it eats it's foods, fits in well with the other dinosaurs like the baby T. Rex and anklyosaurus.
