Overall such a good lego set but price is a little much but makes up for it with all the detail

This is a Christmas gift for my daughter and she is going to love it.  She requested this lego set this year and has numerous Harry Potter Lego sets on display in her house.  She is a true Harry Potter fan.  I cannot wait to see her face when she gets this.

These are great building designs but they feel so stuck out with the other HP sets from this year. The sets are so detailed while these fit with the wheezes set from last year but it’s all simple. I prefer the madame malkins building more, but it’s still a cool set to have with great piece usage.

2023 Buildings In 2024…

i had fun putting it together but it was a lot smaller than i thought it would be. especially for a lego set. im not sure if I will keep it together or dismantle it and build something else.

I love the LEGO Harry Potter shop sets and this one fits right in. The buildings looks fantastic on display and the interiors are full of fun details that make it enjoyable to look at. The minifigures are a great addition and having these two stores together in one set makes it feel like a real slice of Diagon Alley. It pairs nicely with other Harry Potter shop builds and really adds to the overall magical atmosphere. The only really annoying downside is the wand boxes. Putting the tiny wands into the boxes is frustrating because they keep falling out, which makes it hard to keep everything neat and displayed. I really wish that part had been designed better. There are also a few spots where the build feels a bit repetitive or tight, but those are minor issues.

Another Cute Shop Set

It is a fun build, albeit quick. Overall really high quality set.  Wish madam malkins didn't have so many large sticker walls and the builds are overall thin. 

Kids don't like that the minifigures for harry and Padma have legs that don't bend. I agree.

Great Lego! With some minor gripes

I actually returned this item mainly due to size preference.

I actually tried 2 Lego items for the very first time.  My concerns of detailed instructions and build strength were unfounded.  Really not addicted to building, like most Lego fans.  It really boiled down to size vs competition.  

For both Harry Potter and Wicked, there are already a lot of prebuilt structures and realistic micro dolls that are almost twice the size of the Lego figures.  Pre built items pictured in the back ground and micro dolls in the foreground.

Yes, some of the other micro dolls can somewhat go with like the very detailed LEGO EMERALD CITY STRUCTURE, but really just didn’t need Lego to check off any boxes.  Plus always concerned about long term storage of a Lego built items.

Scale of Lego is just too small

this set is so small for the price ! especially compared to other Harry Potter sets we have.
