Lan Reserva has remained 18 months in mixed French and American oak barrels and 21 more months in the bottle, inside our cellar, in exceptional conditions of conservation. Do not save this Reserve for a better occasion that never comes. Coming from selected vineyards in the sub zone of Rioja Alta and Alavesa with an average of more than 25 years. Fermentation in stainless steel tanks with controlled temperature, allowing it not to exceed 28ºC so as not to lose the aromas from the grapes. Maceration of 3 weeks with frequent comebacks to get a good color extraction. For 18 months in mixed French and American oak barrels. Bodegas LAN is a pioneer in the use of mixed barrels, which combine staves of American oak, which provide the elegance of vanilla, and French oak bottoms, which provides spicy touches. LAN Reserva remained 20 months in the bottle, to complete its tuning. Bright ripe cherry color. Intense and aromatically complex. Aromas of ripe red fruit wrapped with white flowers, almond blossom and broom. Hints of cinnamon and balsamic. Velvety, delicate and soft entrance. Elegant, balanced and harmonious mouth. Long aftertaste leaving a pleasant memory that invites us to continue enjoying it.
