Stephen Kowalski was an avid hunter and wurstmacher. He was always looking to imporve his hunting expierence. That's when he created a dried Polish sausage he remembered from Poland. Starting in 1961, the company has advertised the product continually, making it the original Hunter Sausage.

I used to work for Kowalski years ago & these gafe always been my favorite. Love that Sam's carries them. Just wish Sam's in Florida did as I can only get them when I come back to visit

My husband and his friends love these hunter meat sticks!   Every time we go to Michigan to visit, one of our first stops is Sam’s Club to purchase these meat sticks.  My most recent visit included purchasing enough meat sticks to fill an extra suitcase.

In high demand

I hope these never disappear. I buy them all the time.  Very tasty.  In the winter I like to pop one in the microwave for 13 seconds to warm it up. Only down side is the white powder that I have to clean off of them.

No taste at all. Horrible ! I was very disappointed with this product! I was so excited to see them but very disappointed after purchasing. Dry with no taste whatsoever!
