This is my "go to" scotch. Predictable. Widely available and reasonably priced. Better than many higher priced single malts and worth the extra price when compared to the bottom shelf bargain scotchs. Stands alone as the ice melts and plays well with others!

I learned from an expert at a Scotch tasting party in Boston. To inhale the essence of the oak as you slowly sip the liquor brinks out the best of the best.. I also keep the Gold, the Double Black, the Black Ruby and the Swing in my bar. 'Black" is by far my favorite.

This is a great cheap alternative to Jack Daniel's. It is smooth and has a good finish. It has a nice blend with some age to the body. I recommend this to your bar setup.
