I've lived in South Korea for over a decade, and I'm in love with Korean food, especially kimchi.Sam’s Club has the best kimchi so far. They say nothing compares to what you can buy from Korean aunties in smaller independent shops but this particular brand from Sam’s Club can. It's the real deal!

Best Kimchi in the US

3.3lbs, since Sams does not stock this item, I ordered two and picked up at the store. With the fermentation of the cabbage, ginger, garlic, etc and the red color is mostly cayenne pepper.  Not much hotter though than a "hot" brand of salsa.  Eating just a /4 cup or less per day will help with digestion etc,  Adding it to rice or mixing with something else will take a bit of the bite away from it, but do not heat it, or you destroy the probiotics and defeat it's purpose.

Hot and femented!  Very healthy to eat

I took a gamble buying this Kimchi in bulk and I'm glad I did. It comes as close as buying Kimchi in an Asian grocery store. It does have a pretty strong Kimchi smell if you're not use to it or sensitive to smells. Definitely worth purchasing.

I do like the taste but this makes the fridge very very stinky regardless how tight I close the lid, even after I transfer the whole thing into a better quality Bell glass jar with silicon ring on the lid, the smell still leaks out, I became so afraid to open the fridge since I got this.  Unfortunately I will not be getting this again.

Although the kimchi had a use by date in the future, it must have had an out of temperature event which made it over ripe.  Maybe the next batch will be better.  We just put the entire bottle into the garbage can.  Too bad.  JayOne is a good Korean brand.

Over ripe!  Too sour

Do yourself a favor, go to a Korean market and get much better Kimchi. This is soggy, oily (why?), and the mushroom does not vibe with the rest of the flavors at all. I tried it with different dishes hoping to make it work then stopped torturing myself and threw it away.

Just don't

It was giving a foul odor in the car so we opened it as soon as we got home. The kimchi was slimy and had a very foul odor. Have eaten kimchi many times but this was clearly spoiled. Must've not been stored properly so unfortunately we had to throw it out.
