I first tried Jameson Stout Edition during a mixology class in Ireland, and I fell in love instantly. The whiskey itself is rich and complex, with layers of flavor that keep revealing themselves sip after sip, notes of chocolate, coffee, roasted malt, and a gentle oakiness that comes from its time in stout seasoned barrels. The experience of tasting it in that cozy, lively classroom made it even more memorable; it felt like you could taste the care and craftsmanship in every drop. The aging gives it a smooth, slightly creamy texture that makes it perfect for sipping neat, but it also holds up beautifully in creative cocktails. Overall, it’s a whiskey with character, depth, and a story behind it, definitely one I’ll never forget.

Beautiful classic finished off in seasoned Irish stout beer barrels that elevate its tastes to a another level bringing out flavours such as coffee, chocolate and butterscotch. To get a true taste I have it neat to appreciate the layers of flavours it bring.

One of the best stout Irish whiskey

First time trying and let me say it was very drinkable.  Coming from an Irish girl that says a lot. I had a double serving after work with friends.  The value of this craft whiskey was excellent.

It tastes smooth

Caskmates Stout Barrel is absolutely delicious, the stout really brings a rich nuttiness to the palate.  So sad to see that Stout Barrel has been discontinued, it was flat out AMAZING!

My very favorite flavor. I am truly sorry you quit making it. I drink it in coffee, hot chocolate, lemonade and orange juice, and a personal drink made just for me at my favorite Mexican restaurant called a Mia-Rita. I drink one every Friday night when I go out for dinner and drinks.

This bottle is so smooth. The smell is a little strong, which might throw you off whether you’re drinking with your man or some friends this bottle will definitely take you there the package and catches your eye and you get a good value for your money.

Strong but good and not too expensive taste great and smells stout. We like the drink and it’s very nice and tastes great especially iced or very cold.

Fantastic combination using beer barrels.

I love the stout caskmates, but no store is selling it anymore.  Stout caskmates are perfect for mixed drinks; black label straight.  Please re-stock our stores in Southern California.

If you like Jameson stay with the original.  This was an attempt at putting a spin on a classic and I just found it overwhelming. I found it heavy and the flavor was unfamiliar and not in the best way. I bought a bottle of this and I wouldn't try it again
