This vacuum/mop has really been a lifesaver. We have kids and a dog and it really helps to have something that can be programmed and it runs. This not only keeps our house clean but saves us time. It navigates our floorpan well and handles different terrain.

Best Vacuum Purchase

This is my first robotics vacuum %26 mopping unit i have ever owned and i have to say I'm quite impressed so far. all my floors are LVP no carpet so i dont know how well it works on carpet and i don't have pets or children just 2 adults in my household. the first mopping i used just water and it done a great job vacuum and mopping i have since bought the i robot cleaning solution so we will see how that cleans next mopping session i have ot set to vacuum and mop my entire home on Monday's and Thursday's while we are at work i absolutely love this robot so far its only been used 1 time so hopefully it keeps up the great cleaning my home stayes pretty clean but its nice to not have to worry about sweeping and mopping the floors now since i have this. will update in a few months to see if anything changes

absolutely amazing

I've had 3 robot mops over the years and this one is finally the one that feels worth the money. The iRobot Roomba  420 plus AutoWash Dock cleans the floors great, but the best part is how little I have to mess with it.

No hand washing nasty mop pads.
No constantly refilling the water tank every five minutes.
And it actually dries the mop pads when it's done — which keeps that sour mop smell away. Huge win.

The dock does most of the dirty work for you, and honestly that's what makes this model stand out from my older Roombas. If you've got  a husband who goes in  out, grandkids, pool traffic daily or a busy house, it's a game changer.

I'm picky about floors looking clean, especially with light floors, and this thing has impressed me. Technology finally caught up with lazy cleaning… and I'm here for it. 😂

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been loving this roomba. It does a surprisingly good job of cleaning the floors with the mop. I love that I can set it to deep clean or just light wash where it’ll go over more times. You can also vacuum separate from the mop which is even nicer. The suction has been great. It’s very efficient time wise. So far no complaints.

It will always blow my mind how this robot vacuum/mop knows how to map out your home so it doesn't crash into walls or anything. My floors looks and feel clean at all times. It fits nicely in its own little spot in the living room and it's easy to assemble. Awesome product!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Roomba Plus 405 Combo robot and AutoWash with dock is an amazing house cleaning tool. It didn’t come with a quick start guide. Since there was no QR code to scan, it was much harder to get it set up. I couldn’t get the robot to sync with my app. It took me 45 minutes to get it set up to go. Once it was synced and ready to go, the robot mapped out the floor it was on in about 90 minutes. Once it did that, I had it clean 3 rooms. It stopped a couple times to clean the mop heads and once to empty the vacuum compartment. I used plain water to clean the hardwood floors. It picked up all the crumbs in the kitchen and did a nice job mopping in neat rows. In the foyer, it mopped away footprints from someone’s dirty shoe. The vacuuming was effective—it picked up a lot of cat fur and crumbs. It didn’t get stuck in cords that I couldn’t hide. It is quiet enough that I was able to watch TV still while worked. I took a video of it cleaning, but it won’t load to this review. I like that you can edit the map to label the rooms. You can also go into the map and subdivide a room for shorter cleaning sessions. For instance, if I cooked a lot and made a mess in the kitchen, I can have the robot only clean the kitchen—not the entire first floor. Overall, this is an excellent product.

Exceptional cleaner

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you have animals like me , especially heavy shedding kinds read on to get my take on owning the Roomba plus  400 serious. I have  2 cats, one husky and a Pomsky, so lots of shedding, the Roomba is amazing for maintenance, but it's not going to fully replace a regular vacuum with that level of shedding. Think of it as keeping things under control between your deep cleans. The Roomba is extremely convenient when I'm busy or just don't feel like doing it that day, I can go in the app on my phone even when I'm not home and select from 3 different levels of vacuuming or chose the mop and vacuum option. I always select deep clean because of the amount of animals I have which is really nice because I am often busy. It takes the Roomba about an hour and a half to do a deep clean for my living room and kitchen. The mopping function leaves the floor a little bit wetter than I would like for LVP floors, so when I use that setting, I have to be prepared to go behind with a dry mop to just kind of dry the floor a bit. I do really like that. The Roomba has a self cleaning function so when it's full, it empties into its own vacuum bag. And it also cleans out the water tank and refresh's it so you don't get any icky water just sitting stagnant. It has a smart feature where it maps out your house and you can designate areas you don't want done. A problem I have with the mopping function is it did try to mop my carpets even though I marked that section as a no go. I wish I could say the Roomba wasn't that loud, but it is pretty loud  & The Roomba docking station is rather large and is an eyesore, so I don't love that but the convenience of it outweighs the con's lol. Overall, I would give the Roomba four stars out
 of five.

Grateful for our daily upkeep

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am so glad that I got this Roomba iRobot. This is a multi use vacuum. Mops my hardwood floors and vacuums rooms with carpet. Super easy to install pieces together. It's not as bulky as I thought it'd be. Fits perfectly in any corner of a room. Keep in mind you will have to download the Roomba home app so you can program the device to your home. You can go as far as to program the machine to not go in some area you may not want to be cleaned by the device. There is a bag that holds plenty of days worth of debris. The water container has one side for clean water and the other for dirty water. I love this hands free vacuum. It is on the high price of vacuums/mops but it is so worth it. I was so tired of ringing mops and renting carpet cleaners. This is an amazing device.

All in one carpet and floor cleaner

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Easy to set up. The sensors on the machine scan the room to set up where it needs to clean. The looking function works really well and even avoids carpets or rugs. The vacuum works but not the best.

Cool gadget but not a need

Only works about half the time. Usually gets hung up on something small it runs over. God forbid you have a power outage or internet drops for a second. now you have to do a full reset and reconnect to wifi, and hope it connects.  then, after not doing its automation for whatever excuse it wants to make up, the app has the audacity to tell you that your floors need to be cleaned. On a positive note, if it manages to sweep and mop without an error, it does a good job.
