You can't beat these chairs for sturdiness or price. Priced similar chairs at so called 'commercial' vendors and got these MUCH cheaper. We have some pretty large people and these chairs seem to hold the weight without any trouble at all. We've bought two sets so far and replaced some more expensive ones.

I would say that although its good that they were wrapped so they wouldnt be scrathced, it was way too much wrapping. We had a set of these that lasted 20 years. My expectations for this set are not as high. The chairs are smaller, one came with a cut in the vinyl, and they squeak horribly if you move side to side on the cushion.
